I'm 31weeks pregnant , an am having very bad back pain.. any solutions would be wonders!

Most doctors looked at me and said your to young for back pain. But the truth is i have back pain in my lumbar 1 and 2 vertabre and it hurts all the time. It hurts to turn side ways or bend over and it hurts even more after i walk or run after a while. Also it started getting worse one day after gym when we did the long jump a could feel my back shift crack and it started tingleing. After that i was forced to do it one more time and it mad my legs and back tingle and kind of numb.

Another great thing for back pain are essential oils. There is one out called deep relief by young living essential oils. Works really well. Also ask ur Dr about some stretches you can do. I have 10 days left and between the stretches, oils and hot baths they haven't been so bad. Sleep w at least 1 pillow between ur legs...i sleep w one up higher and one by my ankles. Hot flashes...dress as cool as possible and have a fan nearby.

Based on your young age and the absence of any significant trauma, the pain may be related to muscle strain that has not been completely resolved. The fact that your pain is increased with positional changes and lengthy periods of sitting etc lends support to this probability. Disc herniations could produce similar pain, but are usually accompanied by other neurological changes.

Hello Brandon, I am sorry your back hurts. Pain is a horrible companion. Have they determined what is causing of your back pain? If you are having soft tissue pain they often will not prescribe narcotics, especially if you are young. And that may be the reason for the other medications. If you have a "pinched nerve" or spinal injury and your physician will not listen to you, fire him. Yes we hire these physicians to treat us.

i have bad back pain n 3 small children too but have had back pain since i was very young. n its also upper back. the back pain is prolly from lifting you sons and inflamation. what i would do n i do myself i rub asper cream on the area that hurts it relaxes the muscles. then jus have some rub it it helps alot. now with the tingling im not sure?? but i would jus get it checked n see whats goin on i would def get it checked out.

Hi there, i am 36 years young and have had lower back pain for about a year, my doc said it might just go away but im not to sure. I have urine leaks and in constant pain. I have a lot of help with this and just cant find a pain killer that is efective and dose not make me a zombie. Can any one give me advice??

You are too young to have this kind of back pain. So, you tried some different things and nothing has helped? Physical therapy? Stretching? Massage? Are they suggesting surgery?

sleeping, my back has perhaps overarched and now when i try to sleep normal this pain is because it is trying to force my back back into a normal position its not used to? i was recommended to take a break from football and see if it heals, i stopped for 1 month, i tried last night and the same thing happend.

I have bad back and neck pain lately. I go to a ciopracter and he told me to get a new pillow. So I did and it seems like this pillows even worse than my last! Also for the back problem we bought some memory foam and it seems to be helping but maybe if there's something extra I could do to it that would be nice :) also if any1 knows about the neck pain like what it is or how to fix it please tell me! I'm only 11 so I shouldn't be haveing pain like this.

As many of you know I had a series of 3 ESI's a little over a month ago. They worked great for about two weeks and then my pain started to creep back in. I saw my PM last Tuesday and told her about it and she just prescribed me more anti-inflammatory medicine (mobic) which does not make any bit of difference and I've told her this but for whatever reason she wants me to keep taking it. Possibly to see how long it takes before I get an ulcer!

but for the past say, 3 yrs ive been suffering with stiffness and tenderness in my hands that sometimes makes it hard to pick things up as well as doing something simple as writing. to ease the pain i usually take pain relievers 4 the problem...is this an arthitis problem?

Yes it's normal. I'm 19&5 and my left hip constantly hurts if I sleep, sit, walk, or stand to long and my back hurts like hell. A lot of other young new moms have this problem as well.

t bend or twist and if i walk i feel tired and just i want to rest and i feel my midle of my back look like cutting in half and i feel a doul pain in my midle of my back i feel my pain in my lower back either and i feel my back empty nothing in other then my born so iam in so much pain i can't fold my arm bacward and buy the way when i donne the ct scan before the MRI it show I have a bulged disc at the L4/5 level but i don't know why it didn't show on the Mri.

Heating pads are what i use...I'm a ftmtb and had a recent back surgery. My Dr's told me heat and there is an oil out there by young living that I swear by. It's called deep relief and is all natural. It even comes in a bottle w a roller ball for easy application. I use mine b4, during and after work. It seems to help. I'll be 32 weeks Fri. Good luck!

sometimes I get this horrible pinching pain on the lower left side of my back. Absolutely nothing takes the pain away.

I am 22 wks now and see chiropractor regularly...my lower back I have a fracture that has been there since I was young...today it felt like my back was being clenched and twisted...I laid down ,stretched it...was worse when I got up and couldn't walk but now is much better....anyone know if u can use an inverter when prego?? One of those machines u strap ur ankles in and hang upside down??

Back pain. Was diagnosed with osteoarthritis, my right hand started to go numb in just two fingers now it's my whole arm. Had back x rays showed pinched nerve on l5s1. The most painful part is I have to bend my spine to get relief I'm constantly bending backward to relive pressure. What's this from. I'm 24 male} I'm currently taking naproxen, flexril, lidocain patches, predistone (when needed for swelling).

I have had surgery on my upper spine when I was six to correct a birth defect that was causing the fluid that flows around my brain and spine to enter my spine thru a hole which caused swelling of the spine to the point that I loss motion of my left causing foot drop. I recovered from the surgery 100% but they had to put in a shunt to driect the fluid so this would not happen again. I'm 34 now and I have had bad back pain for the last 2 years.

Ever since, I have had extreme, chronic debilitating back pain and no doctor can figure out why. I never had any problems before the accident; I didn't participate in any sports and I was generally a low impact person. About a two years ago i bent over to feed my cat and felt something and hurd something pop in my back. I had xrays done and the doctor tells me that other than some degeneration and some arthritis theres nothing wroung and that i need to just deal with it. The pain is affecting my job and my personnal life.
