I actually Have a kidney infection . Im 20 weeks the pain is terrible . Yes, i was tested positive for uti. The dr gave me 2 antibiotics until Im due. Hope you dont have to go thru what im going thru.

I don't think I have a kidney infection, I just have horrible back pain. I think it's from lifting things at work. What can I do to make the pain ease?

The drugs that they gave me caused Achilles tendinitis luckily mine didnt rupture but that's been a few mo.. ago and I still have the lump on my tendon and I have a job on my feet so its causing me to miss work.. Be careful of the medications that they will give you because it seems that the levaquin and the cipro are the types of drugs that caused this problem..

Me too I have a very bad back pain and my midwife said it is normal because the baby is growing . So you need to take it easy , hot bath will help alot ..

I had the same problem and I went to the hospital cause my pain got worst it turned out to be a kidney infection , they told me its common in pregnancy but it need to be treated asap cause you could have a miscarriage , I was 16 weeks when I had to be hospitalized for that , I'm not trying to scare you but just giving you a heads up I could be wrong you might not have that but just make sure .

and the day after that, i had mild discomfort and pain in my lower back. a nurse has told me that i have kidney stones, but i haven't had xrays or anything. these symptoms in my lower back have lasted for 4 days now. when i wake up in the morning, i don't notice anything at all, but by the end of the day, i'm sore in my lower back especially when seated, it doesn't bother me so much when i'm standing up or laying on my stomach.

9 year ago I had a hysterectomy. Unfortunately during surgery the doctor knocked a hole in my bladder. My ureter swelled and kinked. Two days later I had stint put in my ureter. The stint stayed in for nine weeks. I continued to see the urologist for a year and did well. Now I am beginning to have a lot of pain in the kidney and area of the ureter.
