Avatar n tn what if when you breathe in you have a pain at the mid back on the right
Avatar m tn Does anyone experience severe back pains in the morning? I can't tell if it my lungs. I have epilepsy and my cpap machine has been a blessing in disguise, I've lived my life in a state of exhaustion, until use of my cpap machine, and that has often caused very bad seizures. Without my cpap machine, I don't think I'd be here making this post.
Avatar m tn How common is back pain. I have, for about half a year now, experienced back pain when I stand up straight and walk to class -- especially with my backpack on. It's dull, and achy, and occasionally pretty bad. When I stand up and endure it for a long period, like standing up straight, it almost feels hard to breath, like someone is sitting on my lungs. I know I have had bad posture problems from never sitting up straight in school when I was younger, but never this bad to where it hurts.
Avatar f tn Well we most likely all have back pain, what do you do for it ? Any tips? With my first it wasn't that bad,but this one's a boy and I'm getting big so maybe that's why.
Avatar m tn That you feel the pain when you move your neck but have no pain with breathing is most consistent with a muscular cause. This type of pain would almost never accompany bronchitis or any other disease within the lungs themselves, including pneumonia. If a muscular pain, it is probably related to an awkward sleeping position and should subside spontaneously, quickly.
Avatar f tn Was put onto Amoxicillin 500mg for 7 days and asked to go and have a chest x-ray, also taking pain killers to help. 3rd day of Anti-biotics and symptons feel worse, pain in back is more severe whilst breathing and unable to sleep at night properly as very painful to move etc. Doctor prescribed stronger pain killers but cannot find any noise when checking over my lungs.
Avatar n tn Im a 19yr old girl and i recently got back pain between my shoulder blades, feels like it's on the spine. It happened right after i got out of bed, i have shortness of breath and hurts to breathe in and light headed. Thanks!
Avatar f tn The pain has started in my upper right of my back, under my shoulder blade, then I get what feels like period pains. After a few hours I get a painful stitch under my right rib cage and the sharpe pains make me grasp for air, the pain then worsens when I breath. I had this a year ago and went to the doctors, he suggested it could be pluresy. I had blood test and everything came back fine. After about 5 days the pain eased.
20804739 tn?1514947203 My 47 year old father is suffering from fever & lower back pain from last 2 week. In His blood test report all are okay, Then doctor reffer us for chest X-ray report. Is it serious problem., Can u please help?
Avatar n tn i have a heavy feeling in my lungs and abit sore to touch at the bottom of my back also shoulder blades feel a bit painful
Avatar n tn No, the report said hyperaerated lungs, I've never heard of hyperinflation either. I've been seeing just regular doctor, but I will be seeing a pulmolnogest next week, but I was told I had emphysema after a broncoscope 10 years ago. I've also had open heart surgery in 97. I kind of thought the pain might have come from the ribs being spred back then and this is just an after result. Yes I've had pain for a long time, but it has never been unbearable before.
Avatar n tn Because the pain is also in the back i would consider asking your doctor to check for Pleuricy or Pleuritis which is an inflamation of the lining of the lung itself. This can cause alot of pain in the sides of your chest, the front, down in your stomach or even up into your shoulder and neck. And the pain ignites with every breath. it hurts to sit down or get up or even lye down. Definitely ask your doctor about Pleuricy.
Avatar f tn The middle of your back would be around the level of the diaphragm, maybe the lower part of the lungs, maybe the kidneys. Pain in mid-back can be due to anything. Probably, most often it is musculoskeletal. Bilateral back pain would be consistent with a muscle strain or maybe a nerve or disc problem. Back pain is like a headache -- so many things can cause it that you need to be examined by a doctor, in order to find out what is the problem.
Avatar f tn I have a really similar problem also. I constantly have back pain though so I didn't mention that. But I just posted a similar post as well: http://www.medhelp.org/posts/show/637105?
Avatar n tn Failing lungs could cause your back to ache, but it's more likely from coughing for a week. Treat the cough, see a doctor and if you are a smoker...STOP!
Avatar f tn All through out the years of having back pain, it never caused me any grief to sneeze or cough, not even after my back fusion with instrumentation in feb of this year. I became sick with a simple chest cold last week and for the first time in my life, the constant coughing and sneezing is killing my back. I'm shocked at the pain its producing. My back now feels inflammed and it hurts to walk normal. I'm just riding my cold out to see if my back pains in my fusion area goes away.
Avatar n tn my dr pulmoligist sayes my lungs are scared 30% and i have rads is this bad iv.e had many dr.
Avatar f tn hi My name is Poornima and I am 26 yrs old. Last year i went on with the ICD operation in my left side of lungs as doctors found that I was suffering from pneumothorax. I am not an asthmatic or a cold prone person since that ICD operation. Even doctors couldn't predict abt why I got that pneumothorax in this age that too for a female. But my father underwent the same ICD operation 2 years before. But doctors say that its not a genetic oriented disease.
Avatar f tn Why do you worry about pneumonia? I mean, you should have had some other symptoms, like fever. I would just try to get a massage or try some yoga poses for back pain, if it doesn't work then I would take Tylenol, and if it still doesn't work then go to doctor. But try not to worry too much ok?
Avatar f tn im suffering from back pain now for 3 weeks already. when i cough my upper back is aching and also when i take a deep breath. i don't cough really hard, i only cough when i take deep breath and that also my upper back ache. does my back pain is related with the coughing? do i need to go to my doctor already? my back pain is getting worst especially when i try to lift heavy things. does this mean there's something wrong with my lungs? do i need to have an x-ray?
Avatar f tn Gallbladder and kidney has been ruled out. Had x-ray on lungs as well nothing there. The pain in that part of mid back has become so severe that for the past week I have been unable to work. The strange part to all this is that it only gets severe when im in motion and seems to only get to a high level of pain when my arms are involved. The pain also radiates around rib cage. I can't understand how I can be in zero pain to a 10. It just doesn't add up to me.
Avatar n tn I have mild back pain mostly on the left side but it does go across the mid back when taking a deep breath. The pain the worse when my lungs are fully expanded. i have been experiencing increased burping and have some tightness in the upper chest area. I do experience panic attacks, but control with medication upon need.
