Avatar f tn You should have a fetal growth ultrasound done in order to find out about the weight of the baby.

1938385 tn?1332068714 ) yay im 21 weeks and my baby is weighing an estimate of 14oz already dus this mean i will have a big girl this app says baby should weigh about 9oz x
Avatar f tn When I had my last sono my baby boy was ahead of the weight chart to ....last couple months they grow quick so kind of hard to tell yet bc still have tje last months that' theu will grow the most my first was 9.7 and last I had sono my baby boy was almost 2 lbs when it said he should only be like 1.2-1.5 lbs ...
Avatar f tn Hmm that doesn't sound right but I'm not a dr so idk lol I don't think baby should weight 12oz until around 20 weeks. You sure there wasn't a misunderstanding and they said 2 oz instead of 12?
Avatar f tn However severe appetite loss and low pregnancy weight gain can lead to a low birth weight! She then said if I was that worried to make an appt with community midwives. Between this and no check for BP and urine (especially when my last urine at 16 weeks had keytones) I get the feeling I was majorly fobbed off as my scan was booked in at 4:30 and by time I got to the maternity unit afterwards as I was meant to do, it was after 5 and I saw lots of midwifes leaving.
Avatar f tn im 25 weeks and today the midwife said my baby is under weight on the chart, he's in the part that 10% of babies weigh and I have to go back in the next week and if he hasn't grown I need to have a scan. has any one else had this?
Avatar f tn At 32w5d my baby weighed 4lbs7oz the ultrasound tech told me that that's the average weight for how far along I was. Hopefully they're a bit off on your baby's weight! I think that's kind of big for 31w6d.
Avatar f tn also i confirmed his weight from U/S now i have appointment for 34wks and i m hoping he stays at 90th percentile.. those three lines on chart are estimated weight for baby and it also helps midwife to understand if baby has growth restrictions etc.. but they are not always correct.. :).. its always give or take two pounds when baby is born :)...
Avatar f tn I'm 20 wks 2 days an I have also only gained 1 lb but I have a good size bump!
Avatar f tn I dont think theres a specific weight ur baby should weight. I mean if a baby is born 9lbs hes gonna weight more then a baby born at 6lbs. And some babies eat more others dont. My niece was under the "chart" weight wise but she was sitting and crawling a lot earlier then most. My sister weights 40lbs at 10yrs old. Shes super tiny but shes still healthy.
10798067 tn?1431550433 Preggers2015 The largest baby to be born in the UK naturally was over 15 lb! I don't think there is really anything to worry about regarding babies weight and you ability to deliver, try not to worry. In the UK they don't routinely do ultrasounds after 20 weeks unless there is a problem so it's all guess work.
1110049 tn?1409402144 Hi, I live in the UK. Is there someone who is in the 60s or 70s who would support me? Preferably in the UK. I want to lose weight so I look decent at my son's wedding in Turkey in May this year. I cannot do proper exercise because of arthritis, but I like walking. Alas dog died, so cannot walk him now. I need to lose about 40lbs. I have done it before, but always put weight back on. I am on anti-depressants, and they make me crave carbohydrates. I need willpower.
Avatar f tn The chart on this website says I am above the normal weight is that a bad thing? I was underweight before getting pregnant.
Avatar f tn I went for my anatomy sonogram at 18 weeks and 3 days and my baby weighs 9 oz. Everyone said that was big then I checked a chart which also showed the baby to be big, but the fdolp chart shows me at 18weeks and an age ultrasound at 11 weeks showed me at my current 18 weeks 3 days....could my baby be growing fast or could I be farther along?
Avatar f tn Do uk midwifes check how dilated you are at your check ups? And what do they actually check when you get towards the end of your pregnancy.
7758733 tn?1402589420 The chart in my book says between baby, increased breast size, fluid, and placenta it adds up to about 11 lbs anything in addition to that is fat or water retention.
4867445 tn?1362610988 t grown im 38+5 now but they only go on the world wide growth chart do mw so when i went to hospital they did one specifically for me my size weight ect scanned me to check his size and im fine he's just a small baby which im glad for as my other 2 were almost 10lb so try not to worry
Avatar n tn Below is a weight chart on Baby Center. Now I know everyone is different but I found this website to be interesting. http://www.babycenter.
Avatar n tn Oh and when that happened me and my husband just Google searched how much babies weigh at that time and baby center has a chart of average weights and heights for your baby:):) I hope this helps!
Avatar f tn I hate some of these doctors. I lost 15 lbs and u am now 24 wka preggo and weight loss and pregnancy runs in my fam. Once ur not starving yourself etc don't worry. My baby has the weight and i don't. Doctors talk about bmi etc. i hate that crap, no " weight" chart can possibly tell me i am under weight or over weight. My sister had a 3 month looking belly at 9 months and baby weighed 7 lbs. If u listen to everything these american doc say then u will go nuts.
Avatar f tn What machine though? I don't get it haha :( I go to hear his heartbeat twice a week and my midwife measures my uterus and she says it's perfect size for my dates, but I've never been told a weight. Even on my last ultrasound I wasn't told a weight.
