Then I just got a 2nd opinion and this dr said to quit Atenolol,Isosobide and Ranexa and start Azor and Bystolic and he wants me to have a Cardiolite stress test. I really do not see an improvement with Azor and Bystolic-I think I have just as much angina maybe more on these 2 drugs. My question is what will stress test show that the heart cath didn't show?

CT scan shows no pancreas abnmormality. EGD just yesterday shows no ulcers.He has just taken me off the nexum, lipitor and azor. No ETOH, no NSAIDS etc. Every time I eat I have this pain. It is driving me crazy. I had been taking ibuprofin for the pain.

I an 51 years old I visited about 3 neurologists in my lifetime since i was about 10 years old. the last neurologist put me on epilim and azor .5mg - it seem to keep the dizzyness away. if i became dizzy, I was down for quite a few heavy sleeping hours. as soon as i woke up, it was gone. I could never play netball in school, or go dancing with flashing lights etc. since about a year ago, i started having other symptoms as well.

m very nervous about this because of what happens when the gland begins to die and starts dumping hormones in the blood stream. I read it can cause a storm and with my heart problems and high blood pressure, I'm terrified! Does anyone know if being on high does of beta blocker will help this. I'm currently on 400 mg of PTU per day, 200 mg of atenolol, and Azor for BP as well. I really need all the answers I can get. Thank you!

I recently stopped the flecainide and have had no significant a-fib that I can discern, although some skipped beats. I do continue to take bystolic and azor for high blood pressure. However, since discontinuing the flecanide, I have had what I would describe as a pounding heartbeat (not rapid), dizziness, and consistent blood pressure readings of 140s/50s.

I never had a problem until I had my first baby and a week later my bp was 161/110 2nd baby after a week shot up to 191/110. Took forever to go down and was finally put on Azor 5/40 plus a water pill. I went off because my bp was normal after a year or 2, then one night I had a heavy chest, I took my bp and it was 180/108. What concerns me is my diastolic stays high, in the morning my bp can go down to 120/90, the disatolic remains high. or I get readings of 150/99 to 117/91.

I stopped Azor 5/20 mg about one month ago, still having side effects. Has anyone stopped bp pills and had side effects lasting this long. I was on the drug for two years. Stopped because I started getting side effects that I first got when I started the pill.

I am concerned. I take Azor for high blood pressure, I also have been exposed to TB (1987 took INH and B6 six months) I also have lactose intolerance, I take enzyme for. Should I take this medicine? My blood pressure is controlled with the medication. If I take the digestive enzyme could that eleviate the problem of lactose intolerant? I don't know what to do.

He just started on a very low dose blood pressure med withen the last three months azor and doing good on that but the doctor said that because of the cyst they may had been the cause of the rise in blood pressure. Is all this info a cause to be alarmed. I read there is no cure for polycystic kidney disease only dialysis and transplant but that is still no gaurantee that the cyst wont return. I am afraid for him and not sleeping it is about 3:50 a.m now and my mind just racing.

Yes I have and I also had the same test and my upper gi was also nagative! Try and relax about it which is easier said than done but being that u have had test and doctors said no problem it may just be anxiety I lost a lot of weight worrying in R weeks I lost over 20 lbs n every test came back negative and had 2nd opinions and they too were negative! I was diagnosed with severe gastritis caused by H. Pylori this march and the doctor treated me with antibiotics and some antacids. After some time I repeated the test for H. Pylori and it was negative. But the symptoms weren't gone. I had nausea, heartburn, constant fullness and pain in the stomach even after eating little amount of food, loss of the appetite, chronic fatigue (in the past I've also had candida infections).

I had similar syptoms four years ago and was diagonsed with diverticulitus if its bad I have anti biotics but when I feel it coming on I drink peppermint tea especially morning and night and now and again ginger ale. It helps and sometimes I can stop an attack before it comes too bad. I suggest you go back to your doctor and ask to be tested for diverticulitus of Irritable bowl syndrome.

If the pain is above your navel, that is where your stomach is, so check out the diet and possibility of ulcers...and no drinking alcohol until you find out....

For the past year i have been dealing with on and off stomach problems. It started with getting sick in the middle of the night after drinking beer. So sick i thought it was food poisoning. i've had all types of test done and alls they is, i have constipation and heartburn. But i have been drinking the Valerian Root Tea for few days now and from yesterday i started having this stomach pain. And when i go to bathroom its not normal. Now I have a severe everyday pain lower right side abdomen, I’m clear of appendix and ovary problems and have good, healthy periods. I had a calprotectin test that came up 338, I have impaction of feces and I am now anemic. Does anyone have any ideas on what this is ?

This initally had good results, but I have evolved into mild constipation and the stomach distress and gas seems to be escalating again. I am taking 300mcg Synthroid, 5mcg Cytomel,daily, vitamins, one HCL and a Digestive enzyme with each meal. I feel pretty good with current thyroid regime, though I do need 10hr of sleep to feel normal, it takes awhile to get going am, and still feel moody. I eat well, lots of veges , cooked and raw, fruit, low meat intake, lots of water.

They did an x-ray and said it looked normal, no stomach problems, no intestinal problems, no blockages or stuff in it, no tape worm (apparently, we live in the wrong area [Colorado]). The problems obviously get worse with panic attacks but even when not panicking my stomach is often messed up. Often if I have to take a long drive I get anxious over my stomach acting up and this seems to worsen if not create the nausea and upset stomach. Any suggestions?

I'm 18 years old and for about a year now iv been having horrible stomach problems. after everything i eat i have to go to the bathroom, and if its a full meal its usually always diarrhea that lasts the rest of the day. i'v stopped going out to eat with my friends because i would have to run home right after. i started to wake up 3 hours before class so i can be abe to eat breakfast and go to the bathroom fully b4 i have to leave.
