Facial rashes, night sweats and the closing of my throat. That is when I stopped using Bactrim. All other side effects are gone except for the closing of my throat that comes on and off, especially when I'm done eating. It's been going on for 2 weeks (since my last bactrim dose). It doesn't make my breathing or eating any difficult but is just very annoying. It stopped for 2 days and happened one late night, 2-3 hours after drinking alcohol.

but now and then for the past couple of months I have noticed blood on my stool and with some mucus on my stool I should probably point out I have had mucus in my stool since I noticed the effects of what I believe is IBS! Im just really worried about the blood.... its bright red in colour and there isnt tooo much of it, it just sits on one side of the stool. Im not sure whether its the actual stool or the mucus that is attached to it that is red... did some research...

i'm still experiencing mild diarrhea but i guess i'm one of the unlucky 5% who experience side effects from azithromycin.

Within 5 minutes of entering the suite, I touched the door knob to enter the bathroom and then laid down to take a nap. I felt something in my eye that flew in from the sheet and I began probing my eye with my finger to get it out. At approximately 9:00pm, I was sitting in the living room area and pulled up a stool. As I was pushing the stool back under the table, I cut my finger on a piece of glass. It was bleeding pretty badly.

The most common side effects are diarrhea or loose stools, nausea, abdominal pain, and vomiting which may occur in fewer than one in twenty persons who receive azithromycin. Rare side effects include abnormal liver tests, allergic reactions, and nervousness
if you had an adverse reaction generally it will happen as quickly as yours has.

However, today, noticed that I had what appeared to be blood in toilet and and upon wiping, bright red paper. Earlier in day, noticed slight pain on my left side below rib cage and later noticed I was gasey and burping a lot. My history, had H.Py.ori received treatment for one week and finished anti biotics on the 13th of June, felt ok for a couple of weeks and noticed belching came back and was told about possibility of candida overgrowth of which I had symptoms.
You might have hemmorhoids from straining and they can bleed. If it is bright red blood you have nothing to worry about. If you start having black stools then go to the er because that would mean you are bleeding on the inside.
Have had a bunch of blood work done today and am scheduled for a Colonoscopy to rule out polyps or worse, as there is blood in stool samples. Guess I was hoping that the vomiting and diarrhea was a result of the overdose. I have been seeing a Psychiatrist for depression since last September. Will keep you posted as to my progress.
This time, the pain started as more like a a surface itch, though I could feel a deeper discomfort too. I also had bright red blood in my stool fairly regularly - though that has stopped now and could be piles, which I’ve had before.

Hi, just a week ago, I began to have watery stools after I took only two pills of azithromycin which was part of a three antibiotic pack I received from my nurse practitioner for a case of what he said was bronchitis, but since I had had c diff two years before, due to Clindamycin, I didn't take any others. The watery stools stopped after the next couple of days, but they were still unformed.
hi. i'm 21 years old.. and i'm being paranoid of the fact that i have blood in stools.. last year or maybe 10 months ago... i also had the same problem which prompted me and my mom to go see a doctor... in which i also underwent flexible sigmoidoscopy in which he found out that there was a hemorrhoid.. and then he prescribed me some meds...but went when we got to the pharmacy one of the meds prescribed were unavailable... now, months later the bleeding came back..
Are there any known side effects for Shen Calmer and Liver Happy Capsules? My dog has been taking them for about a week now. He is taking them for anxiety, no signs of relief yet, but no prescriptions have helped him so this is our last resort. The second day he vomited and the vet said she hadn't ever seen that so we have kept going.
Anytime you have blood in your stool you should go see your doctor. Make sure you are plenty hydrated as diarrhea dehydrate you very quickly. Food poisoning can cause bloody stool and so can a number of other things. In order to treat your problem you need to find out what the problem is and get checked out by a doctor!
I have been having blood in my stool for over 3 weeks now. It was red blood mixed in th stool. And some black spot in stool but not sure if it was blood or not. Sometimes I have cramp on my right side of stomach(mid to lower). I have seen my Doctor and a specialist about this. My specialist thinks it is a hemorroid problem. But I have a feeling that it is not a hemorroid. If it is hemorroid, will the bleeding last this long? I need your opinion please... Thanks.
