i went to the doctor, he said its nothing but gave THPA and RPR just incase.... both came back negative..... gave me 2 grams of Azithromycin... took it and now 4 days later, ulcer with scab on it remained unchanged and is still there...accompanied by sore left testicle and penis for 1 whole day, and now it seems like the soreness is not there anymore..... what the heck is going on?

When do you see your doc again? If it's going to be a while, I could call and ask to see him/her sooner just to be on the safe side.

I am a 32 year old male who had protected intercourse (condom) with a sex worker 2 days ago. I also performed oral sex on her (vaginal). I don't recall seeing any ulcers at the time (can't be sure) and we both washed before and after intercourse. Obviously I have no symptoms at this early stage. My questions are:
1. What is the risk of contracting an STD (particularly Herpes; oral/genital) from this contact?

My boyfriend went to the clinic yesterday because he said he had a bump on his penis. The bump disappeared by the time he saw someone but they tested him and told him he might have Mono. They gave him a medication called Azithromycin and they told him he couldn't drink alcohol for 3 days or have sex for a week. And he said they also told him he could still kiss. I thought mono could only be spread through saliva, so why is this? Could he possibly have something else, like an STD?
I just received my chlamydia treatment in the form of 4 tablets to be taken in one dose of Azithromycin. I was diagnosed with Chlamydia about a week ago. They gave me Azithromycin, 4 tablets at 250mg to take all at once. I took them and have severe stomach cramping and nausea, and ended up getting sick about 45 to an hour after taking the last pill... hoping that I would have already digested it before I got sick. The stomach pain lasted the rest of the day. It's been about 3 days now since I have taken it, but I still have that "burning" sensation after I urinate.
My comments have not changed in the interval since our last interval. the medication you received inthe GUM clinic was most probably azithromycin and that is recommended for treatment of NSU. I urge you to trust your test results. . Sometimes after an exposure that, in retrospect, one wishes they had not had, persons tend to examine themselves and be far more attuned to genital sensations than in periods when they are not concerned.
On Day 14, there was a small stain on my underwear. On Day 15, there was a yellowish creamy dishcharge from my penis in the morning.
