Hey guys, it's been 3-4 weeks now I feel confused and very anxious because of a weird situation. I've been with my boyfriend for 3 months now and we stopped using condoms 2 months ago, after getting both negative tests for regular stds.
4 weeks ago, I started having mild penis tip discomfort and had clear discharge. I've been given azithromycin and cefixime just in case, but, there again, chlamydia/gono turned out negative.
If the test strips were kept sealed they "probably" are good. The sure way to test this is to take a blood sample with a strip that has not expired, and then shortly afterwards, use a strip from the "expired" container. If readings are comparable, it suggests the "expired" strips are good to use.
Just precautionary I just started Azithromycin on my own, going to take it for 2-4 days, 500mg 1 dose daily ..... and to make matter worse, the original problem of burning penis stayed, from this afternoon - anal burning has also started.it's all bearable but strong enough to make it's occurrence felt ...... having some irritable bowl movements as well ... The penile tip is a little tender, but no pain yet.
The condom, if used, was expired and had spermicide on it. I saw a clinic who prescribed zithromax, although my chlamydia/gono test came back negative. A couple days later I noticed that I had red bumps on my the head of my penis, only when it is erect. Nothing is noticeable when it is flacid. I saw a urologist and showed him pictures of the erect penis, but he did no testing.

I find no drug interactions between doxycycline and Azithromycin so will it help eradicate the infection if I give a two combo punch similar to a two-three drug regimen that is available for HIV? Going to take doxycycline 200mg/total a day split into two doses and since I took 3g of Azithromycin already was going to take 500mg a day for 15 days. I just want to make sure I won’t be doing more harm than good.

t know that it was expired. it was expired on november 16th itself.i bought it on october and came to know only now that it has got only 1 month shelf life. when i washed my face that sunday when i used it(some particles fell on my eye), my left eye (it was usuallly dry)got redenned and it has got few nerves clearly appearing on it.i never expected this to happen because of usage of expired gram flour.
So before checking the date, I took one dose of chloraseptic spray that expired eight years ago. It didn't really work at all, but is that the only problem I face? Could there be any problems that arise from taking that type of medicine that long after its date?

I was diagnosed with Chlamydia about a week ago. They gave me Azithromycin, 4 tablets at 250mg to take all at once. I took them and have severe stomach cramping and nausea, and ended up getting sick about 45 to an hour after taking the last pill... hoping that I would have already digested it before I got sick. The stomach pain lasted the rest of the day. It's been about 3 days now since I have taken it, but I still have that "burning" sensation after I urinate.

Please when your blood level is low and you mistakely took an entire blood tablet that has expired, I want to know if it harmful.
s free hand outs dont get me wrong I do appreciate it but when I got home and looked at the samples and coupons all of them had expired!!! (the end of 2013) I dont want to be ungrateful but I also dont need more garbage I have enough garbage to get rid of that I have to pay for.
If it didn't taste bad and was fully cooked, you're probably fine.
Hi everyone, I just realised yesterday that my thyroxine is expired and I've been taking it for months. I don't know how I over-looked this... There was a lot of fiddling with my levels after I had my second baby in November so I'm guessing there were just to many different tablets and I got them mixed up. My doc has me on 88mcg/day (100 then 75 alternating day to day). The 100's were expired as of last December and the 75's expired in March this year.
So recently I was craving some donuts and I didn't see that they were expired later after eating them I got diarrhea, does expire food harm my baby? FTM!
