azithromycin and dayquil

Monday, but clean Tuesday. He came down with a cold ladt weekend and I gave him Dayquil Sunday night and Monday, and he swears he hasn't taken anything else; he's never taken amphetamines in the past so I doubt he would now, but I can't be 100% sure. The sample was sent for additional testing, which will be back Tuesday. I've read a few accounts os DayQuil effecting drug tests online, but wondered if anyone here has any knowledge of this.

My daughter is 4 months pregnant and took one dose of Dayquil not thinking. She is a first time mom and freaking out about this-afraid she has hurt her unborn child.

Nyquil has alcohol in it so i know that was one of the reasons she told me not to take it....and both nyquil and dayquil i believe may have aspirin or something along those lines in them which isnt recommended during pregnancy.

After filling out all of the paperwork and sitting for a while, I fled like the building was on fire. Today I bought Dayquil and Robitussin. I am not really coughing but my head is stopped up to the point it feels like will explode. I have a lot of nasal congestion. I can blow my nose every 5 minutes and have results. I feel loopy, all though I think that is from my anxiety. I haven't had a fever, just been real nervous.

I was always told to take tylenol cold. and for the dayquil nyquil is has acohol in it and asprin so i wouldnt recommend it. But you could also call your ob and ask what is safe and whats not.

What medical consequences will occur if you drink a full bottle of dayquil everyday for an extended period of time?

My headache is better but my nose burns - I got some saline spray today and it made it burn more. Do I leave it alone - keep using the saline spray - start up with DayQuil. Just want to feel normal.

Luden's throat lozenges, Nyquil, dayquil, all Tylenol cold products. Regular Tylenol. Hot tea with honey helps a lot and so does using a humidifier. Though OB's do suggest not taking ANY over the counter meds besides benadryl in the first trimeter. So if you are less than 13 weeks along you should get a recommendation from your OB if you can take anything. Feel better!

Nyquil and dayquil are actually both written on the list provided by my ob, so I can't imagine they are bad.

Get the imodium as it will help with the opiate trots and they will happen. The opiates block you up to some extent and when they are no longer there, the bowels start up again with a vengence. Some people go to their doctor for supportive meds. It is a choice I made and it helped so much. If you can't....it is still doable. Keep posting to let the forum know how it is going and we will help as you progress thru.

I have some sinus issues and a cough can I take dayquil if not what can I take im 13 weeks willbe 14 weeks on the 24th of august.

My obgyn gave me a list today of some medicines I can take for a cold and they are sudafed, plain robitussin, drixoral, dimetapp, dayquil and nightquil. :) hope that helps you!

m 34 weeks pregnant and I have very bad congestion and sore throat I ask my doctor and he told it was ok to take DayQuil and NyQuil, but I been reading and most people said not to take it!

Ladies please help!!! I've always had super bad allergies and the only thing I've found that works is DayQuil/NyQuil and obviously can't take that being 10 weeks pregnant. I seriously miss being able to breathe! Anyone know of a SAFE and effective allergy/sinus OTC medicine I can take???

So I have the flu and since I can't take dayquil I've been using a humidifier and Vicks vapor rub but I'm still coughing to the point that I've pulled most of the muscles in my torso. Long story short I was just wondering if I'm doing any harm to the baby from coughing so much. She's definitely moving less than usual but I figure that's just from the stress of it. 0 grams (4 500 mg pills) taken at one time is just as effective as penicillin for syphilis treatment however, there are some cases of treatment failures with azithromycin for syphilis treatment and many of the treatment failures have come from San Francisco where you apparently live. Thus this is a matter of concern. While many people will be cured by therapy of early syphilis with azithromycin, the dose you have received is not the recommended dose.

funny thing is I felt kind of better with the symptoms of the flu granted I had it but I felt like a million bucks...I was awake and clear headed and lively...I also took Dayquil and drinking water and what not? The other girl that I was with left me cause I would take her and me to the clinic and get tested every month and she was okay at first but then she was like I cant do this and she left me...

I read online that the combination of Ciprofloxacin and Azithromycin can be dangerous. Is this still the case, if the last Ciprodose was one week before the 2g Azithromycin dose?

I started sneezing last night, which has always been my first cold symptom. I hardly EVER sneeze unless I'm getting sick. I woke up this morning feeling like hell. I have a headache, nasal congestion on the right side, my teeth are killing me due to the sinus pressure, I have aches and pains every where from my neck to my feet! I feel exhausted even though I went to bed early last night, and on top of it all...I have court today, and my oldest DS get's his tonsils taken out on Wednesday!

By 5 the aches and pains from the fever and not being able to swallow told me I had to call in sick. I did buy Nyquil, Dayquil cough + cold medicine so we'll see how it works. I have a call in to my PDoc so we'll see what he says, he did warn me to watch out for swollen lymph nodes although i'm just on anti-convulsant and anti-seizure meds.this is my 2nd sick day so I just want no more!!!

yes I just got over a really bad cold and they let me take dayquil and nightquil I would only take the tylenol tho till you speak to your dr

I have read lots of your post concerning biaxin and azithromycin and whether they cure syphilis, gonorrhea, chlamydia and NGU. I have found that biaxin is chemically different than azithromycin but biologically same at killing bacteria as azithromycin. On some post you say that azithromycin or clarithromycin(biaxin) would cure all the bacterial stds then in others you state that there could be some problems. by H. Hunter Handsfield, M.D.
