period

1130659 tn?1303315370 in your cycle (early or late), you should track a few cycles then average out the days. This will give you a broad idea as to when you might be ovulating to time bding better. You can also use the ovulation kits each month to find out when you ovulate or if you really want to cover all your basis...bd on the 8th, 10th, 12th, 14th, 16th and 18th days of each cycle. That should cover any early or late ovulations. Good luck.
Avatar n tn hey there, it sort of depends on your cycle length on when you will ovulate, but if you have a normal or average cycle length you should ovulate about the 26th of january, usually 2 weeks from the first day of the day your period started.
Avatar f tn Conception occurs when the sperm and egg meet 12-24hours after ovulation. Most women ovulate at about the midpoint in their cycle. Since the average cycle is 28 days, the conception date is usually calculated to be at 14 days after the start of the last period. If your cycle is longer than 28 days, your ovulation could occur later in your cycle. If you are irregular, it is hard to pinpoint when ovulation occurred.
Avatar f tn t know our exact conception date, it is counted out as 40 weeks from your last period because the average cycle lasts 28 days, making your most fertile time around day 14. You should be looking around January 4 as your actual conception date. So, counting 40 weeks out, your last period was probably around December 21, and 14 days from that is January 4.
Avatar f tn Ok, if you were ovulating around May 24, I am going to guess that your LMP was around May 10 and I estimated an average 28 day cycle. With that, the calculator shows due date of February 19. Again, my fates are estimates as only you know you last period date and cycle number.
Avatar f tn I had my period on 21st July which lasted 5 days which is normal for me I have an average 35 day cycle so I ovulated round about the 30th July. My next period was due 14th August. It has not arrived I'm now 5 days late I've had no bleeding, minor cramping and a touch of backache. A online pregnancy calculator calculated if pregnant I would be 4 weeks pregnant by now. I've took numerous pregnancy tests, different brands and all have come back negative. Any one else had this problem?
Avatar n tn The fertile period of a woman is determined by analyzing her menstrual cycle with an ovulation calculator or fertility chart. On an average the menstrual cycle is a 28 day cycle. During the 14th day after a period, the ovum is released.12 to 16 days after a period is said to be a woman’s most fertile period. For more queries and assistance visit a gynecologist. I sincerely hope it helps. Best luck and kind regards!
Avatar m tn When I asked the Dr the conception date he said July 9, 2014 and when I do the conception calculator wih both edd the earliest I could've concieved is June 28, 2014. I had my period starting after June 10 and ending before June 21. Is there any way I could've concieved prior to my cycle and the Dr/ ultrasound give an estimated conception date off by 3- 4 wks?
Avatar n tn I disagree with the posters who reference your LMP. IF you have a regular 28 day cycle, using your last menstual period and Nagele's Rule will give a due date. IF, on the other hand, you have irregular periods or a cycle that is longer or shorter than the 28 day average, Nagele's Rule is not as accurate. This calculator will allow you to enter in the CONCEPTION date http://www.justmommies.com/duedate.
1281373 tn?1289601576 Then count the days in between every cycle. Average out those numbers and then enter that info into an online ovulation calculator and try on the days it tells you to. So lets say one month you go 28 days in between periods, the next 31 days, the next 29 days, etc. Add em all up and divide by the number of months you calculated for to get an average number of days between each period. That's what i did since mine were slightly irregular as well.
Avatar n tn Your cycle varies from 26-29 days, but the most common is 27 days. This is an average length. As for "normal" ovulation times, we can't tell you that. Generally speaking you will ovulate two weeks BEFORE your next menstrual cycle, so having sex a day after your period usually doesn't result in pregnancy unless you ovulate early in your cycle.
3112100 tn?1379614659 The dates can alter a little as some just go by your last period and others take into account the length of your cycle too. My due date on here is right but my conception date is out by 3 days.
Avatar f tn My last period was the 7th, lasted 4 days and my average cycle is 32 days. The secondary period tracker says i have 4 days until my next period, but the ovulation calculator says my fertile dates were the 22nd through the 27th and i ovulated on the 25th. Do y'all think Plan B will work? Or did the timing kill those chances? Also, a little afraid of Plan B side effects.. and wise words on that?
Avatar n tn I agree with the comment above, with all three of my pregnancies I did the same, & Dr confirmed & my due date has never changed with either child. To get the best accurate results, put in the first day of your last period (lmp) & it's best to know the length of your cycle. Just a example of my current pregnancy..
284738 tn?1283106819 i typed it into a ovulation calulator and its says her ovulation day should be today so if she bds tonight is it too late??? i know every womens cycle is different but based on the calculator it says she should be fertile the 18th -23rd... so that means she can get pregnant any time in between those days or not?
Avatar f tn If you have been given a reliable due date, you can either count backwards manually on a calendar, or you can use an online calculator that does the same thing. But it is only as accurate as the method by which you got a due date.
Avatar f tn Some advice -- if the nurse asks you the first day of your last period, say you don't remember. The reason for this is that if you get an ultrasound, you want them to use that ultrasound alone to tell you an estimated due date, not to simply count forward from the first day of your last period.
Avatar f tn I had my period jan31-feb 6th. my period calculator says I have a 26 day cycle. I took a pregnancy test on march 1st and my period was 4 days late and it was positive.im wondering if the guy from the 17th got me pregnant or if that would have been too soon for a early response pregnancy test to tell Im pregnant?
Avatar f tn In fact, I just checked your numbers using a conception calculator that also intakes the length of the cycle, and it did push your numbers back by four days. This isn't too helpful for you getting clear on whether it was guy number 1 or 2, because it lets guy #2 back into the picture. Where are you with these guys? Do they both know there might be another candidate for Daddy?
6023422 tn?1378419035 That would be true if you were at day 4 of bleeding, and the sperm swam up into your tubes, and you ovulated on day 8 (a bit early in the cycle according to average). It is not usual for women not to ovulate precisely at the mid-point of their cycle, so the scenario above can apparently happen, and women hear about this and repeat to each other the blanket statement that you can get pregnant during your period. But you said you had sex with your ex on the *first* day of your period.
Avatar f tn I had sex on the 18/20th of November and we used a condom and I know it didn't break. I checked my ovulation calculator and it said I stop ovulating on the 17th. I haven't gotten my period but I have been cramping. I just wanted to know is there such thing as an invisible period? My aunt thinks I am pregnant but I know it can't be that. My last period started on November 1st. My menstrual cycles never flowed correctly before I started having sex on the 18th.
Avatar f tn They all work me out at around 8/9 weeks some nearly 10 weeks I had my last period on the 21st Feb and iv had mild sickness for 3 weeks now (not as bad now) how far do u think I am? I got positive test 5 weeks ago so was wondering what's least I could be??
Avatar f tn If a doctor looks at the baby by ultrasound and, due to its measurements, says "You are 6 weeks pregnant," he or she is counting from the first day of your last period, or the calculated first day of an average woman's last period who has an embryo that size in her uterus. That would mean, as RockRose says, if the doc said you're 6 weeks along, you are at that time 4 weeks from conception.
447077 tn?1222790570 my last period started Feb 27th but that was right after the Mirena was removed even though it was within my average cycle start date so my flow stopped the 5th and after that we have been trying to get pg since. From all the ovulation calculator results they show I should be ovulating anywhere from the 9th to the 13th or so.....I'm guessing I can start testing next weekend around the 21st????????
Avatar f tn Everyone would be scratching their head if asked when did you have sex but not when asked when was your first day of your last period. Plus right after you get your period your new cycle will begin which means your body will get prepared for the next ovulation. so in this cycle you will be pregnant so it makes sense to have it counted from the first at of your last period.
