I have had a round of Avelox a few weeks ago and recently Omnicef 600mg/day for 10 days and still have discharge. Question,
wouldn't these antibiotics be affective against NGU, Chlamydia or Gonnorrhea? Thanks for the help.
After trying Doxy, Azithromycin, and Flagyl, the only antibiotic that finally worked was Avelox. The question now is what I should treat my partner with. I know from my experience that my NGU was passed sexually, and she needs to get treated before we can have sex again. The problem, is that she said she is allergic to Avelox. Another problem, is that since it is NGU, we cannot test to confirm if the bacteria is cured, and she is also asymptomatic.
I have tendonitis as a result of taking Avelox. Is this a condition that can be treated like other tendonitis and what is the prognisis?

My 13 year-old son, who is a very competitive swimmer and table tennis player, has also diagnosed with OCD in his right elbow started June last year. The last year December MRI told that his joint was still intact with a piece of shadow and some effusion. He has stopped playing table tennis which is considered the one that likely caused the problem but been swimming kind of 'normally', which is considered might be even 'helpful'.

Avelox... I went yesterday and saw a lung specialist, he calmed me down and told me that i only have a little pneumonia in my lower left side it's nothing to be worried about. It's the bronchitis that's causing a lot of pain in my chest and back that I did not have prior to the antibiotics.
Surgery usually isn't a treatment for either tennis elbow or bursitis as it usually gets better before that's on the table as an option. Normally they watch you flex your arm to see where it hurts to diagnose it. If unsure, they may ask for imaging to be done such as x ray or MRI. They do sometimes touch the area but sometime they just ask you to manipulate it/move it so they can see that way. Normally surgery happens only if it hasn't gotten better in 6 months to 12 months.
I recently developed an upper respitory infection and bronchitis and one of the medications was AVELOX. Within 3 days the severe pain in my shoulders was GONE. How is this possible? Was it a viral infection causing my pains and if so could it be a form of Lyme Disease?
The follow through in the golf swing and the serve in tennis require momentary neck extension that can cause a “jolt” of pain during the maneuver.

treated with doxycycline by end of june for 1 wk. started on avelox end of july for 1 wk. then given levaquin for a wk. by last wk doc said she didn't think was infection cause levaquin shoudl have killed anything, even though I was still having gobs of green phlegm coming down the back of my throat and out of my lungs. she sent me to the asthma and allergy clinic where i was tested for 27 diff allergies all negative for.
The ones I feel are working me out more then the others are basketball, baseball, and bowling. I do like the table tennis regular tennis, and archery. It is really fun to play and beat my own score. I just don't want to loose motivation if I don't see the results right away. I tend to loose focus. That's why I got this app. So I can actually see how I've been eating. Also for the support and helpful info to keep me on track.

Hi, so, at the beginning of June, I noticed something in my vision. When blinking, this perfect round, light greyish disk appears in my right eye vision. It is located slightly to the side of my central vision, and slightly down. It's about the size of a table tennis ball. It immediately disappears after blinking, and generally I see it in lower lit conditions; These symptoms are apparently a symptoms of Macular Degeneration! Oh dear - I'm just 16!
Does anyone else have issues with the bottom of your feet hurting? This is my second pregnancy and I don't remember it being so bad with the first. I have to wear tennis shoes all of the time and even then the bottoms of my feet just ache! Any tips for relief would be appreciated!
I moved to China 7 months ago for work, and start practicing Table Tennis intensively (2/3 hours a day) with a lot of smashing and looping. ( I do other sports include light weight lifting, I'm fit and healthy but my wrist seems to be a bit smaller comparing to my forearm ) I'm not sure if the pain was a result of table tennis or other activities. .. anyways, 6 months ago, My wrist developed a slight pain that gets a bit more intense when I practice more than 30 minutes.
I have suffered with tennis elbow for a number of years. 10 days ago I had my 3rd cortisone injection which so far has had little effect. How long should I wait before seek further medical assistance? The pain, if anything, seems to be getting worse. I can't straightened my arm now.
I live in the Washington, D.C. area and would like to try platelet injections as a treatment for tennis elbow. Georgetown just finished clinical trials but I can't find a doctor who will administer this as a treatment. Is it still experimental? How can I find a physician who uses this procedure?
Good day! I have been experiencing tennis elbow (tendonitis) in my right elbow for the last 6 months. It's due to weight training and heavy lifting. I've cut back on the weight but still have soreness (though not as bad.) I've tried ice a few times each day, a brace when I exercise and Advil yet I still have it. My health insurance plan at work ***** and I don't want to go see a doctor as I don't have the money. Any suggestions? Thanx!!!
Hi, I fainted after playing tennis for about 5-10 minutes. This happened to me years ago while working out in a gym.
I haven't done any strenuous exercise in years-- I walk instead of driving, but I am otherwise very sedentary. I am a slender 23 year old female. I have no history of illness.
The only possibly related anomalies I have experienced are vasovagal syncope after blood tests, injections etc.
