t u just hate when ppl who are suppose to be ur friend fill ur mind with doubt and worry?? All week I have heard horror stories from the girls from work (who are nurses) girls we gotta remember that no pregnancy is the same and personally I feel listening to girls drag us down makes us feel waaay worse. I ended up booking a private scan cos I was so torn up by what ppl were telling me about my nausea symptoms stopping. If ur not sick ur whole pregnancy something is wrong?!?!? I was terrified.

I was having a discussion on my Facebook about birth and all that and asked that anyone who commented refrained from telling horror stories.. I wanted to know about people's POSITIVE csection experience because I have a scheduled csection in June.. I know it's not all rainbows and sunshine but I don't want to psych myself out..

t necessarily pay attention to the horror stories that you find online... b/c everyone is different, but I would like some feedback. I've seen the horror stories and I've also heard (from my nurse friend - directly from other nurses who take it themselves) that it is a wonder drug.

Hiii, The medicine which you are talking about is - Ziconotide, which is FDA approved drug, given intra-thecally, for the pain control. Forget about all the horror storied and try this drug, and if it gives you relief, then nothing's better. However if you feel uncomfortable, then we can discuss further.

I have had a round of Avelox a few weeks ago and recently Omnicef 600mg/day for 10 days and still have discharge. Question, wouldn't these antibiotics be affective against NGU, Chlamydia or Gonnorrhea? Thanks for the help.

I wake up at night wheezy,coughing up white or clear phlem . I also have chest heaviness and itchiness in the chest area. I feel like there is phlem stuck in my throat and my nose feels stuffed.When it is hot out I get these same symptoms.could this be asthmatic bronchitis or something else. Am 42 year old male who has had five years of painful diverticulitis off and on. I am scheduled for surgery in 5 weeks. I am only reading horror stories and am wondering if anyone has had a good outcome after surgery. I am in otherwise great health.

After trying Doxy, Azithromycin, and Flagyl, the only antibiotic that finally worked was Avelox. The question now is what I should treat my partner with. I know from my experience that my NGU was passed sexually, and she needs to get treated before we can have sex again. The problem, is that she said she is allergic to Avelox. Another problem, is that since it is NGU, we cannot test to confirm if the bacteria is cured, and she is also asymptomatic.

I feel very nervous like I am having withdraw symptoms with the same dosage. I want to stop taking it tomorrow 'but have have read some horror stories. Could i be dependent on it already? I read all of these horror stories online when I chose to go off of xanax (I was rx'd 2mgs 4x's a day!) Anyway, I did taper down to 1 2mg a day. I used it at night only. I went cold turkey off of that. The taper was quick (as in 30 days) and my withdrawal was: day 1-3 mild anxiety day 4-7 tough to sleep of course and felt just out of it. I made sure to have no unnecessary drama.

Ok I am weaning off suboxone slowly have gone from 8 mgs to 4 mgs over the last 4 months but have been very depressed, the doctor started me on 30 mg of cymbalta 8 days ago, nauseous first 3 days and now mouth is very dry, haven't really noticed any other side effects and it's too soon to tell if it's helping with the depression but I've been reading some horror stories about cymbalta withdrawals, should I stop now?? Avelox... I went yesterday and saw a lung specialist, he calmed me down and told me that i only have a little pneumonia in my lower left side it's nothing to be worried about. It's the bronchitis that's causing a lot of pain in my chest and back that I did not have prior to the antibiotics.

A few days after the exposure I statrted taking an antibiotic, Avelox, for a sinus issue. Over the weekend I statrted to itch but with no visible signs of a rash. The question I have is this an early sign of HIV infection? Were my blood tests too close to exposure and therefore worthless? Is the "itch" a possible adverse reaction to the Avelox. I, too, read the horror stories and the tales of missed periods, but all that happened to me was that my period went back to the hellish way it had been before the pill. I take Microgestin. Remember that everyone's body will respond differently to stopping a medication like this. Of course the ones you're going to find on the internet are going to be the bad ones as people tend to only be chatty when things don't go well.

Its rare to occur before 20wks but it does happen. Try not to read too much on the net because there are a lot of horror stories that will freak you out. Just relax, drink lots of water and keep that blood pressure down! I got to 35wks with my first and am still aiming for 36wks with this one. Don't be surprised if your dr puts you on calcium, aspirin and a low-fat diet, it will all help keep baby in there and keep you healthy. Take care!
