Avatar f tn Try laying off or at least cutting down while you are pregnant and then slowly add it back in to your diet afterwards. If you decide to breastfeed and you start dairy back into your diet and you notice your baby getting eczema, it could be a sign that he/she is allergic/intolerant.
Avatar f tn Hi I am 33 weeks and every time I eat milk ice cream cheese or drink anything with dairy products In it I am in the bathroom a half hour after with really bad diarrhea What could that be
Avatar f tn Hi, I'm 20 years old and I've recently been prescribed a small dose of Eutroxsig (a 50mg tablet per day). My blood tests showed I was showing decrease in my TSH and I'm apparently showing symptoms that could potentially turn into thyroditis one day, though I'm wondering if these symptoms could also be due to my poor sleep schedule, diet and lack of exercise.
Avatar m tn It says on my packet not to have any dairy products for 2 hours after taking the medication. I looked it up and dairy products inhibit the workings of the thyroxine medication. have others been told this?
Avatar m tn I used to avoid dairy products(except buttermilk) and added sugars as far as possible in view of my family history of cholesterol and diabetes.Still I am on statin 10 mg on alternate days. Now I have perfect lipid profile.Does the complete avoidance of dairy products have any adverse effects on my system.
Avatar f tn Is it weird that dairy products are the only thing I can seem to consume without feeling bloated, nauseous, and or groggy?
Avatar f tn Given my large range of inflammatory/autoimmune/immune issues, he suggested I cut out ALL dairy and ALL gluten product and just generally all flour, whether it's gluten or not. He believes (and research supports) that they are the primary contributors to inflammation in the body, along with the other allergens if you are sensitive to them (eggs, peanuts, tree nuts). And sugar too, he told me to cut out. This is not news to me but I have not been following this diet as my GM is quiet.
541609 tn?1273879848 Hi, I think when TTC it is important to have enough healthy fats in your diet. This means sticking to regular fat foods (regular dairy products are fine), and don't try to eat less fat. Just stick to a healthy diet, with plenty of natural (fruits, veges, nuts, meats) minimally processed foods. Keep away from transfats - which are man made fats and present in many processed foods. Go to Westonprice website if you are interested, it has a lot of info about fats in our diet.
Avatar m tn You're lactose intolerant, allergic to dairy products. I developed this same allergy and had to completely eliminate dairy from my diet or I would get sick. Yes it *****, but you have to listen to your body. Look at it like this - someone with a fish or peanut allergy avoid those foods because their body will reject them and effect the body negatively. Well, that's what dairy does to you.
Avatar n tn "But giving up all dairy products is just smart. All dairy cows produce a lot of estrogen just to produce milk. Forget the fact that they are given de-wormers, antibiotics, growth hormones and such." I have not studied the estrogen levels of cows and transmission of bovine estrogen through milk.
Avatar f tn also been on the avelox a week now and still have a week to go, but infection is just getting worse. have been making sure not to take any dairy or other minerals with it, 8 hrs before or 4 hrs after taking it. doc told me to take my omeprazole every day for my acid reflux (which i haven't had any problems with in quite a while) because she thought my acid reflux might be causing all of this to be worse and making my asthma flare up.
Avatar m tn The aim of our study was to investigate the association between consumption of total and specific dairy products (milk/cheese/yogurt) and their components (calcium/vitamin D/fats/protein), with first incident HCC (N(cases) = 191) in the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition cohort, including a nested case-control subset (N(cases) = 122) with the assessment of hepatitis B virus/hepatitis C virus infections status, liver damage and circulating insulin-like growth factor (IG

172023 tn?1334672284 Read labels on foods to see if they have milk products in them. Even foods like margarines, shortenings, non-dairy creamers, baked goods, and salad dressings can contain lactose. Food ingredients that may contain lactose may be listed at the very end. Look not only for milk and lactose, but also for words such as whey, curds, milk by-products, dry milk solids, and non-fat dry milk powder. If any of these words are listed on a label, the product contains lactose.
Avatar f tn That *****. I love cheese too. Maybe you could try lactose free dairy products and see if that helps. It's possible that you might have developed an alergy to dairy though so you might not have a choice but to avoid it altogether. Sorry. If that's the case and you keep eating it, you could cause yourself more problems than you can bare so beware.
Avatar f tn Include plenty of fresh fruits, high fiber vegetables, whole grains, lean meat and low fat dairy products. This could reduce your symptoms of pain and gallstone formation. Regards.
Avatar f tn It may help to maintain a food dairy and keep monitoring your symptoms. This will help to narrow the search and avoid them. Further allergic testing may be worth looking into. Hope this helped and do keep us posted.

7729616 tn?1393795492 She told me that her doctor stated that according to the results of her blood tests for food sensitivity, she should not be consuming any dairy products, no products with casein in them such as cheese, no products with glutin , no wheat products. Blood tests also determined she was to have no night shades. Examples of night shades are potatoes, tomatoes, egg plant. There may be other night shades but these are the ones I'm aware of.
Avatar n tn Hi, I am a little sensitive to dairy products but do not have any major symptoms except for that I may have some minor stomach aches and go to the bathroom more often (but not diarrhea). My family doctor took a blood test for me and told me that I "have a milk allergy and should try to stay away from dairy products and if I do decide to eat dairy, I should take a Lactaid pill".
Avatar n tn By all means YES...cheese, milk and all commercial dairy products should be avoided. You are just clogging your system and introducing toxins like hormones and antibiotics to your already weak system. Google 'dairy products and cancer' and you will see how many websites are against eating dairy products when one has cancer cancer. But there are some websides that will call it quackery. Read them too and compare.
