Would the augmentin help? Do I need an std test with no symptoms?

Now the tests are all negative but considering the window period for some STD, should I finish taking Augmentin as a precaution to get rid of the possible infection? Thank you.

About 3 days later all symptoms of the STD were gone. I am not sure of the Augmentin cleared up the STD. I need to have a conversation with my boyfriend about this but I also need to know that I actually had an STD before I accuse him of giving me one. If I did have an STD there is no chance it was from anyone else and he also needs to get treated. I am still going to visit my doctor to get tested for all STD's in case he gave me more than one.

My Dr has treated me with Metronidazole- brand name used was flagyl Nylstatin for yeast, clamycin,spandnox (for yeast), and recently had some relief with Augmentin(which was prescribed for a chest infection). When i was on augmentin all the above symptoms went away however came back 1 or 2 days after i came off the anti biotic.

Did all test including HIV and Hepatatis B, VDRL. All are negetive. I had taken anibiotic (Augmentin 1g), but not controlled. I dont know what is the sickness for this symptoms. I am under worriness. Please help me.

I have a yellowish thick penile discharge and a slight burning with urination. Since I could not see a dcotr yet, I started taking augmentin 500 mg that I had at home, but read that I should take a unique does o 3 g. am I supposed to take 6 tablets of 500 mg or what? I would rather take one 500 mg tablet each 8 hours for a couple of days. Any advice?

This seems to simply be the flu and is definitely not likely to be any std. No std will give you symptoms less than 48 hours after exposure. No symptoms of std show the very next day.

I recently took a 10 day course of augmentin for strep throat or tonsillitis (I took the prescription prior to testing to see which). Toward the end of the treatment, I started to experience some mild discomfort after urninating. Weeks later I am still experiencing that discomfort, in varying degrees. Hi, the last symptoms you mention do not sound like any std. Most symptoms would be urethra discomfort and a white discharge.

I wish I could answer that for you. But someone on the formum for STD may know. It sounds like you have somekind of infection, but I don't know. Maybe the HPV virus.

Is it possible that i irrateded my urethra from this. on may 5 i took some augmentin 4 pills 875mg and 2 pills the each day following. Total 14 pills. Stupid i know. I have no discharge in the morning and urinating only hurts when i squeeze my penis before urinating. 1. Well your risk for HIV is there, can't really tell you how high, but worth testing for at 8 weeks and then follow up at 3 months.
