Hi, I went to the doctor and all tests are negative. I still have mild itchy foreskin and anus, little burning when peeing, no discharge (after receiving oral sex only, for about 1 minute, 12 days ago). I told the doctor I took Augmentin, he laughed at me and suspects NGU or gonorrhea. Since I am leaving the city for a long period of work the doctor gave me Zithromax 2gr and Cefixima 400mg all in one dose. Then test again in 1 month.... Is this cure good for gonorrhea, NGU, chlamydia? Thank you.
I am on Tecfidera 240 mg dose. It just occurred to me I missed the morning dose. I have a call into the specialty pharmacy for direction. I didn't find much on the web except "take it as soon as you remember and if close to your next dose take it then but don't double up". This is the first time I missed since starting therapy last month. I feel terrible. Is this incredibly bad?
Do I still take the ribavirin pills since I missed the dose? After 4 weeks I was tested and no virus was showing so I am worried that this is going to be a set back. I am anemic as well. Just need to know what to do??? Hep clinic closed for weekend as is doc office and pharmacist had no clue. Anyone been through this?
anyone else have side effects AFTER STOPPING augmentin after the full 10 day dose? I have been off for two days and have awful sweating and hot flashes. I am male, and in relatively good shape. bp has been in the 140/70 range for three days. odd stuff. Ive usually had plain ole amoxicillin, but this stuff takes the cake.
*Augmentin XR 1000 -- This is a time-release formulation and thus is a better choice than standard Augmentin. Dose -- 1000 mg q 8 h, to 2000 mg q 12 h based on blood levels.
* Chloramphenicol -- Not recommended, as not proven and potentially toxic.
* Metronidazole -- 500 to 1500 mg daily in divided doses. Non-pregnant adults only.
I missed taking my zoloft by 15 hours. (I'm supposed to take my 50mg at 12 midnight and I didn't remember until 3pm the next day). I took the missed dose at that time (3pm)....I JUST NOW relized that I should have just waited until tonight at 12midnight to take it. So, since I took it at 3pm, what should I do? If I take it at the scheduled time tonight then that would be 2 doses in just 9 hours. How do I get back on schedule of taking it at 12 midnight?
I take 1.25mg of clonazepam daily- 0.25mg during the day and 1mg at night. Last night I fell asleep and woke up at 5am to find out that I've missed last night's dose. I immediately took 0.5mg- i didn't want to take the whole 1mg because that would bring today's total to 2.25mg, instead of 1.25mg. Do you think I'm going to have problems today?

Just saw this message. Tell him to continue normal dosage. He should NOT double dose any days to make up the missed days.
Chances are, nothing will happen. He would have needed to miss many more days than 2 in a row to have issues.
I have missed a dose here and there by accident and have been fine since. It's not the end of the world. Body responds just fine but tell him to try not to miss any more.
My 12month old daughter has vomited in the middle of the night for the past 6 nights. She has been sick- first a cold then an ear infection and was on augmentin, but her last dose was yesterday. She is fine during the day but every night it is the same thing- her stomach starts making load gurgling noises and her mouth gets watery and she vomits. She sleeps with us and nurses before she goes to bed and then once more during the night.
I was wondering if anyone else has taken Augmentin. I was prescribed it for a double ear infection. Originally I was given acetic acid drops but they aren't working.
I plan on calling my OB in the morning to double check. They are pregnancy category B. Although they are thought to be safe not many studies have been done on them. I'm nervous about everything. This is my first pregnancy and I am only 18.

It is highly likely that Augmentin in the dose and duration I just recommended would abort incubating gonorrhea -- which almost certainly you didn't catch anyway. You can safely take the drug then continue unprotected sex with your wife.
The problem here isn't just STD; you apparently are reacting emotionally to the sexual event, perhaps conflicted about your own sexual orientation or preferences. But this isn't a counseling service, so that will be all for this thread.
