I took Augmentin before but I had no problem with it! to treat my throat they gave me augmentin (amoxicilin and clavulanate). so far i have taken one pill and i will take another in 12 hours. on my left tonsil, half of the inflamed tonsil is covered by a flap of skin. that skin is very irratated and red, this is probably due to the skin stretching as well as my tonsils having issues in general. the back of my throat (not my tonsils) are covered in small "blisters" or "pimples" the kind you sometimes get under your tongue.

4 days on augmentin 825 for a chronic dental infection (now a bone infection), I started having major swelling in my hands. This is new, I've never had swelling like this. Yesterday my one hand looked freakishly red and swollen. It was so swollen, that when I straightened out my hand (which was difficult), everything turned white, inbetween the redness. I was wondering if anyone else has taken Augmentin. I was prescribed it for a double ear infection. Originally I was given acetic acid drops but they aren't working. I plan on calling my OB in the morning to double check. They are pregnancy category B. Although they are thought to be safe not many studies have been done on them. I'm nervous about everything. 225 was high so in morning i went to lab with gluco meter and they picked blood from vein and tested on gluco meter ist it was 103 and in lab 87.lab technician told me that go home eat drink tea with sugar and come back after two hours.i did it and went to lab and result was 80.i went to my doc who is not a specialist in diabetes said do hba1c and result was 5.5.he said moniter your bs for 2 3 days last night i checked after one and half hour after dinner and glucometer reading was 248.

since the time i went in the first time she checked my blood and it was 95 on the meter and i was feeling hypo then and shaking. she thought it was all in my head and that i was faking it. since hypo is below 70. she was like this to at my fast tell my lab came back in the 70- when the meter was still saying 90s.

For the past week or so there has been a couple of times where I feel very weak and my hands start to shake. I know it means my blood sugar is low so I will try to hurry up and eat something. Its sometimes when I first wake up and there are times when its in the middle to late at night. I'm 36 weeks and 4 days.
