Currently diagnosed with double ear infection of middle ear and sinus infection not responsive to augmentin (newly prescribed ceftin). Currently suffering from severe pressure in head behind eyes only alleviated by anti inflammatories like toradol shots (pain medications do not work for head pressure/pain). More information available on my profile (detailed history). Am on 6 month waitlist for specialist. Doctor has confirmed through blood test there is immune deficiency but not specified.

Now I am out of work and need to see an ortho md and blood works for rheumatoid arthritis , lymes disease, etc. I am doing a lot of praying I thought I was going to die, detoxyfying with some charcoal but I need to take low dose Motrin for inflammation inside my joints/muscles and almost all day massage on locked area,painful stretching and hot and cold water therapy. Been doing this x 5days, praise God I am 50% better.

Month later my PA prescribed me a zpak with nasal spray which was a few weeks ago. Still hasn't helped. I tried using a neti pot, cleaning my house constantly from dust and trying to find any mold. Some days are better than others, but most of the time I have these awful symptoms.
to treat my throat they gave me augmentin (amoxicilin and clavulanate). so far i have taken one pill and i will take another in 12 hours.
on my left tonsil, half of the inflamed tonsil is covered by a flap of skin. that skin is very irratated and red, this is probably due to the skin stretching as well as my tonsils having issues in general. the back of my throat (not my tonsils) are covered in small "blisters" or "pimples" the kind you sometimes get under your tongue.

On the 6th of July this year I have been diagnosed with UTI, as I had discharge and also while urinating I felt terrible pain in my penis( there was blood in the urine as well). Doctors gave me Augmentin and everything seemed to be fine, but a week later I felt discomfort in my left testicle, ultrasound showed that nothing is wrong with both of the testicles, they made ultrasound twice to be sure.
so I took my STD test but before I got the result I panicked thinking of gonorrhea or syphilis and took Augmentin for 3 days. Now the tests are all negative but considering the window period for some STD, should I finish taking Augmentin as a precaution to get rid of the possible infection? Thank you.
4 days on augmentin 825 for a chronic dental infection (now a bone infection), I started having major swelling in my hands. This is new, I've never had swelling like this. Yesterday my one hand looked freakishly red and swollen. It was so swollen, that when I straightened out my hand (which was difficult), everything turned white, inbetween the redness.
Anyway, I tried going off the augmentin (I'm taking it in conjunction with clindamycin), and today I feel much less swollen.
Because I had been previously diagnosed (and treated with 1000mg Amoxicillin three times daily) with a sinus and left ear infection about a month earlier he suspected that I could possibly have some type of resistant sinusitus and prescribed Augmentin XR (1000 mg) 2 pills twice a day. I had oral sex again with the asymptomatic guy again on 4/11. I was informed by the guy who developed gonorrhea of all this today, 4/14, and have not had sex with him since before his symptoms began.
I was wondering if anyone else has taken Augmentin. I was prescribed it for a double ear infection. Originally I was given acetic acid drops but they aren't working.
I plan on calling my OB in the morning to double check. They are pregnancy category B. Although they are thought to be safe not many studies have been done on them. I'm nervous about everything. This is my first pregnancy and I am only 18.

Although Augmentin kills certain types of bacteria and is used for lower respiratory, ear, urinary and sinus bacterial infections, does not necessarily mean it will get help a sore throat.
To find out what type of bacteria is causing the sore throat and which antibiotic will kill that bacteria is to get a swab taken of your throat to identify the bacteria and then the correct antibiotic will be prescribed.

It is highly likely that Augmentin in the dose and duration I just recommended would abort incubating gonorrhea -- which almost certainly you didn't catch anyway. You can safely take the drug then continue unprotected sex with your wife.
The problem here isn't just STD; you apparently are reacting emotionally to the sexual event, perhaps conflicted about your own sexual orientation or preferences. But this isn't a counseling service, so that will be all for this thread.
I was as gentle as I could be while putting a little pressure and getting it to where it was clean blood coming up a bit instead of the puss, and cloudy blood it was. I put a little bacitracin on the exterior of the wound. My son is almost done with his course of Augmentin 200 mg/5 ml and was wondering if I can give this stinker boy what's left, and also how much to give a 12 lb cat. was aware I had the seizure problem and prescribed cipro, which I had to call and tell them to send me something different. The one at the pharmacy now is Augmentin. Just need a neurologist`s expert opinion as to whether or not it is alright to take Augmentin with my myoclonic seizure condition. Do not want to start up any seizures. My dermatologist prescribed Augmentin 1g for 14 days for syphilis. I found out 4 days ago, both VDRL and FTA-ABS tests (IgG pos, IgM neg) confirmed that I do have a syphilis infection, and I was possibly infected 5 years ago( am I way past the secondary stage? possibly latent?). The dermatologist says that Augmentin should work, but I'm worried.
I will continue with the oral Augmentin, and re-test to see if it is working, but what are the chances it will?
Augmentin will affect your pill. The other one I do not know about. It probably takes a couple of days for the antiboitics to get out of your system. You might wanna use a second form of protection just in case.
