atazanavir kidney stone

I'm 37 years old female. I had a CT scan and found many stone on both kidney. What does it mean? MSK or other ? Thank you.

I presently do have an appointment scheduled for a second opinion with another Urologist, but to me, that reports sounds like I have a kidney stone and from what I read, it sounds like that could be causing some of my problems...I don't know for sure, but to me it sounds it. I know I am not a Dr. and if he says it is ok, then I have to believe that. I also read where if a stone is in the lower pole, it is less likely to pass on its own??? Can others shed some light to me?

Typically the pain from a kidney stone is when the stone is higher up in ur ureter before it enters ur bladder. It blocks the flow of urine and this is very painful. Actually peeing out the stone can be relatively pain free.

But im still having really sharp srabbing pain in my left side below my ribs but above my pelvis. I think its kidney stone but my mom says a kidney stone will be bad enough I will know I need to go to the ER for it. Any mommas here have experience with them? And what to do for them?

When I was seven or eight months pregnant I found out that I have a kidney stone. ( found out do blood in my urine) The doctor told me it's the size of my pinkey finger. I've had some minor pain, later on I had an x-ray, ct done, and now they cannot find it, I know I didn't pass it. Now the doctor wants me to have an ultrasound. Why cannot they find it? Should I wait to have it removed to concive again??

Went to the doctors about 45 min ago. Was having back pain and feeling sick dizzy and threw up. Well I'm at the hospital again second time in a week. Do any of the home remedies for passing a kidney stone really work or are they, as I suspect, a load of crap? Since the pain occurs on an off, could i be developing or having a stone someweher in the kidney or ureter??? Do i have to have RBC in urine to rule out that there is a stone... Please advise as this is a mental trauma until ruled out..

whe a kidney stone is stuck in a ureter tube and is not allowing fluid to pass from the kidney to the bladder why would you put a stent in the uterer tube instead of removing the kidney stone???

A rough estimate of the same can be inferred from the colour of the urine. Make sure that your colour of the urine remains whitish/colourless just like water. If it’s yellow, it means you are not drinking adequate fluids. Drinking lemon juice does help in preventing formation of the stones.

I've had kidney stones twice. First time I had severe pain in one of my kidneys. Second time I didn't know I had kidney stones until I was urinating blood. Then the pain set in. Not fun either time.

A 4 mm stone has an 80% chance of passage spontaneously in the urinary tract while a 5 mm stone has a 20% chance. a stone of 7.7 mm needs other methods of kidney stone treatment. I’ll suggest consulting a urologist for the same and seeking treatment depending on the size of the stone.

So i went to the er 2 days ago and they said i was trying to pass a little kidney stone... but i still have pain inside my urinary tract(thats the closest thing i can think of to call it because the pain i feel is inside) and last night i had horribe pain on my left side mid flank/stomach area.. does anyone know what this could be?

d suggest that you start with whoever diagnosed your present condition as having kidney stones and go from there. You already have some kind of relationship built up with that person or entity.
