1223953 tn?1267031036 Thank-you for taking the time to answer! I did get my bilirubin test back and it was 54. My AST (27) and ALT (32) were down significantly. Those have been pretty high for about a year. My Dr. said not to change anything, but my eyes were still getting yellower, so I quit the Reyetaz only a few days ago and my eyes have cleared up. I am having no other symptoms. I have been HIV pos for 15 years and on this combo for 2 yrs. I am 47.
446474 tn?1446347682 * Boceprevir reduced average trough concentrations of ritonavir-boosted atazanavir (Reyataz), lopinavir (Kaletra), and darunavir (Prezista) by 49%, 43% and 59%, respectively. * On average, reductions of 25% to 36% were seen in peak concentration of the three drugs, when given with boceprevir, along with declines of 34% to 44% in exposure (area under the curve).
2046312 tn?1360379600 A case series describes three patients who experienced excessive opiate effects of buprenorphine during concomitant antiretroviral therapy with atazanavir, ritonavir, and various nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors. Two of the patients had been on their antiretroviral regimen for several months and reported doped-up feeling, dizziness, and feeling high following initiation of buprenorphine 8 mg/day. The dosage was reduced to 8 mg every other day.
Avatar m tn I am not a doctor or in the medical field. I have had liver disease and learned a little as a result. I doubt that your diet and weight loss is causing these elevations. I also doubt you have Gilbert's Syndrome because your Alkaline Phosphatase is elevated. Your bilirubin of 3.8 is your Total Bilirubin which is the sum of your direct bilirubin(liver related) and your indirect bilirubin(not liver related). With Gilbert's only the indirect bilirubin would be elevated.
Avatar n tn 6, as well as your direct bilirubin at 0.6 - this is inconsistent. Your total level seems reasonably and normal. And it would be impossible to have 0.0 indirect (unconjugated) bilirubin - the amount unprocessed by your liver. The minimum amount typically would be around 0.3 or so. So your listed value for direct bilirubin is likely a misprint.
Avatar f tn my SGPT 100,sgat 58 bilirubin total 1.80 bilirubin direct 0.47 bilirubin indirect 1.
Avatar m tn it was checked again after an year ALT again high upto 150 and other reports are normal. now yesterday ALT increased upto 245 and bilirubin at 1.3 but all reports are normal even bilirubin is not fond in urine test. please tell me what to do because bilirubin 1.3 can be ignore but what about ALT which is higher alot. waiting for your quick responce.
Avatar f tn A liver blood panel with AST, ALT and bilirubin should be done to check for high levels of liver enzymes and bilirubin. It usually takes a bilirubin above 2.5 to 3.0 for the skin to be noticeably yellow. Other symptoms of jaundice include dark urine (the bile spills into the urine making it dark in color) or pale stools, The bile normally makes our stools brown so when not processed properly the stools become light in color.
Avatar m tn Liver function tests check the levels of certain enzymes and proteins in your blood. Higher or lower than normal levels can indicate liver problems. Some common liver function tests include: Alanine transaminase (ALT). An enzyme found mainly in liver cells, ALT helps your body metabolize protein. Normally, ALT levels in the blood are low. When the liver is damaged, ALT is released in the bloodstream and levels increase. Aspartate transaminase (AST).
Avatar f tn GCT 89, Urea 18, creatinine 0.66, total bilirubin 1.1 , Direct bilirubin 0.19, indirect bilirubin 0.91, S.G.O.T 26 , S.G.P.T 16 and phosphatase Alkaline 81. I am always tired. My skin is very yellow but in very clean weather (rural area) is white and I am not tired any more. I live in a city with very High air pollution. Please guide me: 1) I should do which tests? 2) I must speak with physician with which specialist? 3) Which food should I eat or should not eat? 4) Which drug should I eat?
Avatar m tn Because i am nervous in going to test to clear my conscience My Doctor said he is going to take alternative blood test (globulin and albumin)= Total protein...and other tests, BUN/Creatinine and blood sugar..... All the test results came out perfectly normal.....Doctor asked me not to worry becos i'm ok from this alternative test but asked to come at my own time for the hiv test if in want to to clear my conscience....
Avatar m tn I had blood work done in January as part of my physical and my Total Bilirubin was high. the paperwork says the range is 0.3-1.1 mg/dl and my number was 1.5. What does that really mean? I have not been feeling well for about a year now and was thinking my liver could be an issue? I had high bilirubin about 4 or 5 yrs ago (if I remember right my number was 2.5 then) and lost 15 -20lbs and have had trouble getting the weight back.
Avatar f tn ve had abnormal liver function tests but my bilirubin has always been normal. I have become jaundiced and was told by my gi consultant today that my bilirubin is now 50, is this considered really high?
Avatar m tn 5 weeks before i checked my liver function test and total blood count.everything were normal except slight variation in cholestrol level,SGOT and the SGPT and bilirubin levels were high.the final impression under lab report was "mild hepatomegally".also i found myself to be overweight so i decided to reduce my weight by 8 kgs.after reducing my weight with proper controlled diet and regular excercise.stopped eating fried foods and non vegetarian food.
Avatar m tn value is 6.9) and high bilirubin (2.5 where ref. value is 1.0). It is for the second time those parameters are high.I am also taking zyloric tabs 2 per day and silybon syrup 10ml twice daily. I will be grateful if anybody advice me the regular diet chart and precaution and care for this.
Avatar n tn Good evening, I was just trying to get some peace of mind about some elevated levels on my most recent blood test. The ASL was 69, bilirubin 2.0 and PT time 15.1. My ASL was 68 on my last test, bilirubin 1.1 and I think PT was 14.6 or so. I had an ultrasound about two months ago which was normal, as were Hep A, B, C tests and mitochondrial antibody. I don't drink much alcohol, maybe four glasses of wine in the past month, and am not taking any medication on a regular basis.
