Avatar f tn I read about a trial where they were using Candesartin (Atacand) to prevent scar tissue from forming in the liver, as it's an angiotensin receptor blocker. Atacand saved my life. I had heart failure, almost on the transplant list. I found a great doc at UCDavis (after firing one in Auburn who almost killed me), who put me on the Atacand. My heart is now normal! So when I saw this trial I was really curious.
