In April 2010 I experienced major shortness of breath and my Atacand was reduced to 16 mg per day.That relieved the shortness of breath. My current GP doctor stopped Atacand in October 2012. In November 2011 I had an echocardiogram at that time my LVEF was 60%. The mean pressure gradient was 16.5mHG, the max pressure gradient was 30.0 mmHG. The aortic valve area was calculated to be 0.70 cm² That echocardiogram was performed in a hospital.

Hi all I am 50 (will b 51 in few months), with high bp managed with Atacand plus and last visit my doc said im perimenopausal. At the end of last year my cycle missed then it came on 18th Feb and lasted till 22nd March. It then returned couple days ago and I've spent the day with horrible cramps and each evening around 6pm it's as it a tap has been turned on and I bleed profusely. I am going to my doctor first thing Monday but just wondered if anyone else has had this experience?

I'm 26 and have had high BP readings since I was 20. I've always been in great shape and not overweight. I've had all sorts of tests (including the kidney ultrasound, thyroid, etc.) and my cardiologist has just concluded that it's genetic (a conclusion I'm not entirely satisfied with). I also have tachycardia/bradycardia although no one has explained whether these two conditions are related. I take Atacand 8mg to control the blood pressure. It's a pretty tolerable drug.

Hello , I am 43 year old and have high blood pressure i regularly take high BP medicines metropolol and Atacand 16 plus. I have taken all test and my heart seem ok and vessels are clear but my left chest pain just above the left breast does not go away. pain sometimes extend to left arm. also i have a left leg slight partial tightness feeling, Shortness of breath, Chest heaviness, fatigued, sleepy and irritable, Excessive daytime drowsiness, . Doctor says nothing is wrong!

I had a CT Angiogram done for any Aortic disection or Aortic aneurysm, all came back clear, my aorta and all related vessels were within normal range. My cardiologist put me on Atacand as my blood pressure tended to be around 130/70, he advised me while my blood pressure wasnt excessively high, that taking Atacand would lower it a little and make my heart beat with greater efficiency.

He takes Atacand, Norvasc and Bystalic for blood pressure, Zolof, Restasis for his eyes and an Excelon Patch for his memory. He is very stubborn and refuses to go to a geriatric doctor and his own doctors don't seem to know nor do they seem concerned about what's causing it.

This may be indirectly related to your other symptoms as well and you may need to be evaluated further. The neck and occipital pain may be musculoskeletal issues as well and may respond to pain medications and ice pack. Hello, I'm wondering if anyone else with high blood pressure might be able to shed some light on whether some symptoms I've been experiencing might have to do with high blood pressure or not. we are actually healthy persons because hbv makes no damage to us, only few patients have strong immune system damaging liver and that is only the liver nothing else of the body...so tdf on hbv studies has 1% of kidneys issues on hbv carriers already having these issues before tdf start if your kidneys are fine from the start, very high creatinine clearance, you ll have no issues.

my question is though has anyone peed blood about four months after stopping coricidin, and also does any one sometimes have severe kidney pain.

I'm 34 weeks and my kidneys are just killing me. I went to the bath room this morning and I had to pee so bad but it was like I was blocked off. I had a uti already with this pregnancy and I don't think that's what it is. The doc confirmed that I had got rid of it. Does anyone possibly know why my kidneys could be hurting so bad.

I have been using Norco and othe opiods for about 1 year. Today i decided that it was a good idea to stop. I was only able to score 7.5/750 and i took alot over the last few days. Something is not right and i have alot of lower back pain. This is rough. The withdrawals i am coping with xanax and ultram but to np avail. Should i see a doc? Is the back pain normal?

I didnt urinate until 5am the next morning and I just so happened to have something to catch it in IT was coffee colored I called the Doc and took it over, the strip said I had protein and bilirubin in my urine the pain management lady redid my UA and used that urine.

I went to hospital and they thought it was my kidneys, they did a urine test and blood tests looking for infections because the pain came on so suddenly it woke me from my sleep and I was in tears! It turns out it was just a muscle, thank goodness!

I have MS and COPD, HBP was put on meds for the HBP in 2016 it was never really out there high, and am on Losartan 50mg and HTC 12.5mg and on Rosuvastatin for high cholesterol 10MG, oh and last but not least, Copaxone 40MG injection for my MS. Last May all my bloodwork was normal range. On the 5th of Oct had a brain and spine MRI with contrast they did a quick kidney test and my creatinine was high @ 1.6 Last May it was 1.17 normal. What is frightening me is the 50 eGFR.

Im being admited to the hospital cause one of my sons kidneys are larger than the other and he has fluid in his tummy, im only 34weeks and they may or may not keep him inside me. Has anyone had this problem? How can this happen to him? Im so sad about this:( my poor baby something can happen to him they said.
