astelin nasal spray side effects

ve been seeing an allergist because my allergies have really bothered me this year. He prescribed a medicine that is a nasal spray called Astelin. I hope I don't seem 'weird' asking his but have any of you been on one of these type of nasal sprays while having Hep C? If so, did you feel worse using the spray? I've been on it two days and it's making the area of my liver hurt and also in between my shoulder blades.

would a nasal spray help with the clicking and head aches and feeling of a full head and ear??

A quick trip to the doctor and I was told that I had some kind of nasty allergic reaction which clogged my sinuses, gave me a post nasal drip which in turn caused the sore throat and asthma to act up. She prescribed Astelin, a nasal spray antihistamine and described the allergic reaction as a sort of systemic thing and that the astelin should clear it all up. That was Wednesday. I've been using it as told since then and I've only really noticed a very very slight improvement.

Nope, no explanation. I wish I could ask questions there but I totally freeze up because I get extremely nervous. Then I try to come on here and get answers. My doctor put me on a medication called SYNAREL Nasal Spray for the next six months. Just wondering if anyone else was on this nasal spray? Side effects? I've been on it for 2.5 weeks. I've had horrible headaches daily, extreme fatigue and muscle and joint pain. My doctor does not think this is related to the Synarel. Anyone with similar experience?

ve also been taking Atenolol and spraying copious amount of Astelin nasal spray up my nose several times in the evening and at night. I have even been letting it run down the back of my throat and swallowing it because it's the only thing that makes me feel at least somewhat relaxed and sleepy. However, I have begun to wonder if the Astelin and/or Atenolol might be actually aggravating my anxiety symptoms and making me feel worse.

i'm on my 4th day of nasal spray and i've lost 7# no side effects and i'm not hungry. i did the shots for the first part and did not like doing it. i definately recommend the spray.

m now back on the Flixonase Nasal Spray. (The Nasule drops are much stronger than the sprays.) I know exactly what you mean when you say you think you're drowning - it really is the most awful sensation. I used to wake up with a feeling of not being able to breathe, as though I was choking to death. Like you I tried several anti-histamines but they didn't have any affect on the PND. Hope this helps.

My EN&T problem that brought me to this community is night time congestion . I have tried many decongestant products, some over-the-counter and a couple prescription formulations. I have fond that the only thing, pill or spray, that really clears the nasal passages for me is the "Afrin" type nasal spray. Of course we all know this will produce bad unwanted side effects (rebound and loss of sense of smell I believe), so I don't use this spray every night.

So thus evening I took a dose of nasal spray to try it again and my nasal congestion was better but lo and behold I am sitting here at 2:00 am writing this as I've been coughing for the last 15 minutes. It's to much of a coincidence for me to not think it's the omnaris spray. I will now stop the dose again until I see my doctor next week and get her thoughts. I can deal with the nasal congestion better than this coughing. This is of course just my theory.

Have you tried the nasal spray? I think it works wonders. The problem with benedryl, other than side effects for me, is that I would suffer too much during the day time. I suspect the dose to my body is relatively minor, but not sure.
