arthrotec spc

It was discovered that my bladder had been pierced and i had to have a SPC. Upon returning to the UK i have since have 2 separate procedures (urethral dilation) neither of which have worked. At the beginning of August i had a complex urethroplasty all the time the SPC has been in place. Once the urethral catheter was removed roughly 2 weeks ago i've found that my bladder is not emptying fully. I'm still having to use the SPC to fully void.

My husband has this problem everytime the SPC needs changing, tried regular 4 week changes and still stuck. Now has GA every 12 weeks to change the catheter along with botox and prostate massage. Around the 10 week mark he too finds it so painful to touch the tubing etc. Has had SPC two years. Next change Monday and urologist cannot explain why it sticks so badly.

tried enbrel, mtx, simponi, mobic, ibuprof. and more. Thinking of cataflam, arthrotec. If something has helped your ra pain pls reply. Narcotics are out I drive for a living. Thank you.

Turns out, surgeon didn't leave adequate instructions regarding plugging the spc in the post-op timeframe. I found this out via a conversation with the surgeon's RN a few days ago. I apologize for any confusion. I was simply confused.

I am going to see a specialist. My family doctor put me on arthrotec 75 mg. which does help with the pain. I can now move my arms without horrible pain. I am supposed to take it twice a day but it is unbelievable the cost of this stuff. Is that something they use for Fibro ? Any of this type medication has bad side effects.

i have an undisplaced tibia fracture and the doctor prescribe arthrotec. i want to know could it slow down the healing process? is it necessary to use arthrotec?

I cannot sleep longer than for 2 hours. I was given Tramadol and Arthrotec for the pain. I now take Arthrotec and paracetamol after suffering a vomiting fit. I am tired of waiting to receive an appointment to see the hospital neurosurgeon to whom I was referred. s group is crazy active, (like it is here) I did start a drug called Arthrotec and it ended up me being in the hospital with a GI bleed, go figure, finally find a combination that seemed to be working good... Grrr... I've been off treatment completely for about a month now and I am back in a flare... I'm going to have to start doing the injections, and I am a big chicken-s**t!!! But anyway, gotta go for now!!! I Miss You All!!!

ll take more injections with more caution. Interesting though that the anti-inflammatory arthrotec and 25 mg nortriptyline seemed to do the job before the injections!

I'm with Cindee on this one, firstly what type of Dr. dx you? People can have more than one type of arthritis at the same time, if you haven't already you need to see a Rheumatologist and get all new labs done. I take Enbrel for my disease ( AS), my last rheumy gave me a RX for Lyrica which I did not even bother filling, not interested in gaining weight thank you! If you've been on Mobic for a long time it is entirely possible your body is no longer responding to it.

i am on very high doses of morphine, oramorph, tramadol, dihydrocodeine, baclofen, arthrotec & some paracetamol for a bad back. I also have osteoporosis & take calcium tablets for this too. Have you asked your Dr. abt. Arthrotec ? It is supposed to help out alot for people who can't take regular nsaids. The Imodium has something in it that is suposed to help with the receptors in the stomach. It will help with the diareah too. If you have muscle rub then go for that, I use Voltaren gel alot for my arthritis. It does seem to help. Doesn't smell bad either. Epsom salts in the hot/warm bath water, soak awhile. Heating pads are wonderful too.

I cant live with a tube in my penis for the rest of my life , that I have to get changed monthly and the pain is HELL so I am left with no choice but get the SPC ( supra pubic catheter ) and that is an open wound in the belly that has to be kept clean and dry with a catheter directly threw the belly into the bladder and ugly as hell and extremely nasty. I was on Arthrotec and Mefenamic (at different times) and both really did a number on my stomach. Now I'm on iv morphine. From what I can remember also, when I took Codeine a long time ago, I would also get a lot of stomach pain or chest pain and get really hot in the face. Weird it don't happen with morphine. I guess my post wasn't much help. Sorry. But just check about the aspirin.

ve tried prescription strength naproxen (600 mg) and arthrotec(yuck-stomach pain!!) neither of which help at all. Also lidoderm patches, bed buddy, ice, nothing helps. (not all of that at one time.
