I have been having drowsiness since past 4 months, sometimes with and without nausea. I have got my MRI of the brain, certain blood tests which were normal. one of the doctors diagnosed is as muscle spasm but i am so confused whats going on. please help me! Thanks!

I am going to see a specialist. My family doctor put me on arthrotec 75 mg. which does help with the pain. I can now move my arms without horrible pain. I am supposed to take it twice a day but it is unbelievable the cost of this stuff. Is that something they use for Fibro ? Any of this type medication has bad side effects.

Can Chiari symptoms include drowsiness? I am extremly drowsy after a pressure like headace. When the headace unloosen its like av wave of pressure going down my body. The result is muscel weakness and drowsiness. Often i get confused a cries a lot. And it feel like a am drunk? Sometimes i also walk like a drunk. I hate this feeling. s group is crazy active, (like it is here) I did start a drug called Arthrotec and it ended up me being in the hospital with a GI bleed, go figure, finally find a combination that seemed to be working good... Grrr... I've been off treatment completely for about a month now and I am back in a flare... I'm going to have to start doing the injections, and I am a big chicken-s**t!!! But anyway, gotta go for now!!! I Miss You All!!!

The worst med you can take is Methadone it causes severe drowsiness at least it did with me and I have heard several others say it does also. I would recommend you talk to your Dr about the treatment available to you, I think the oxycontin is a wonder drug it has been for me. You would have to see if it works for you, the lortab, vicoden and lorcet are short acting drugs and contain tylenol and the Tylenol is not good for you to take over long periods of time and it will damage your liver.

ll take more injections with more caution. Interesting though that the anti-inflammatory arthrotec and 25 mg nortriptyline seemed to do the job before the injections!

This is a serious question. I have looked online quite a bit for the answer to my problem, but I have always found the exact opposite: drowsiness CAUSING erections. I am 20, 6'5'' 180lbs. I have this problem, it doesn't happen every single time but it happens enough for me to be concerned about it, when I get an erection I get immediately drowsy; as if someone shot me with a tranquilizer dart.

People can have more than one type of arthritis at the same time, if you haven't already you need to see a Rheumatologist and get all new labs done. I take Enbrel for my disease ( AS), my last rheumy gave me a RX for Lyrica which I did not even bother filling, not interested in gaining weight thank you! If you've been on Mobic for a long time it is entirely possible your body is no longer responding to it.

i am on very high doses of morphine, oramorph, tramadol, dihydrocodeine, baclofen, arthrotec & some paracetamol for a bad back. I also have osteoporosis & take calcium tablets for this too. This has gone on for 5 years since i fell off the back of my old works truck. Oh & 2 lots of pills for high blood pressure.

dizziness, nausea, headaches and drowsiness. i never got over the headaches and drowsiness but the others went away when my body got used to it.

Has anyone discovered a way to combat the drowsiness that Paxil causes? It is my only complaint about the drug; otherwise, it has helped me tremendously.

Also my doctor prescribed a medication called Provigil to help counteract the drowsiness caused by my medications because I do take several and all of them may cause drowsiness. Perhaps you can research Provigil and see if that may be an option for you, I know it has helped me tremendously. Good luck!

Im just a little concerned because i used it once so far, and i know that sometimes the side effects can be really severe (ive been having REALLY bad drowsiness, but thats just annoying not much of a big deal) but it also seemed that the inhaler actually made my chest pains worse. It just made it seem like i had this huge gulp of air caught in my chest.. like i needed to burp but couldnt make it come out.
