soluble fiber, not insoluble fiber. The difference is that fiber on the outside of the apple, the skin, is insoluble fiber. The stuff inside is soluble fiber. Wheat is good for other people, not us! It is insoluble fiber. Insoluble fiber will cause cramping, increased pooping, and discomfort. Soluble fiber hydrates and balances water absoption in the intestines.
