2 anti psychotics,one is trifluoperazine and trihexyphenidyl hydrochloride combo and other one aripiprazole mt 5 and 1 mg of lorazepam for sleep. i want to see my pdoc but i am afraid he will give me ect as i saw some nurses in his room which i never seen in past 12 years. i am quite numb and can't respond to any kind of assault. it is really frustrating. since i am on anti psychotics, can i stop it by taking half for 15 days and then quarter for 15 days.
I might be pregnant and my psychiatrist told me not to worry about the embryo. He told me that even while I'm taking 15 mg of Aripiprazole and 50 mg of Sertraline daily, there is no danger. I'm really worried. if I'm pregnant,would these doses harm my embryo being taken daily?
I have just started taking Aripiprazole(Abilify) and have found it to have some beneficial effects on my mood. However I am also finding myself to be extremely drowsy. I have heard that this side effect wears off with time. Has anyone else experienced this? It's the first antipsychotic I've taken that's had any effect so I don't want to stop it but the fact I can literally go to sleep while standing up is making my life difficult.
What is the lethal dose of aripiprazole, quetiapine and lamotrigine? Mix of them.
Hi I'm on 50mg of methadone and 10mg of aripiprazole and I'm wondering if I should keep taking the 2 together as it makes me mega drowsy and also is this combination a thing to worry av about can someone let me know please?
I would try replacing the Aripiprazole (Abilify) and the Sertraline (Zoloft) by taking 25mg of 5-HTP 3x Daily for 1 week as anymore than this could induce Serotonin Syndrome. I would then recommend swapping the tablets out for a 5-HTP transdermal patch which will release a more even dose of 5-HTP throughout the day especially if you have BPD as otherwise the oral form could cause mania.
Fluoxetine 40mg/day, Aripiprazole 2.5 mg/day.

I have been off my meds because i ran out of refills for 21 days now (i used to take 10mg aripiprazole, 80mg duloxotine, and bupropion HCL XL 300mg.) i dont know if that would effect my period but it’s worth a shot putting it out there. I feel as though something is really wrong but I cannot afford a doctor/emergency care because i have no insurance or income. Has anyone been in a similar situation? Does anyone know what’s happening with my body?
Venlafaxine is used to treat general anxiety and abilify(aripiprazole) is used to treat depression.

You could try taking it in the morning because it typically keeps people awake and causes restlessness. Also, when i first started on aripiprazole (abilify) i experienced some side effects but they went away after a couple of weeks. Hopefully yours will go away as well, if they don't go away,however, talk to your psychiatrist. You don't have to deal with any unwanted side effects if you don't want to. That is what mine always tells me anyways....
Hello - I have been taking trazadone 50 mg. at bedtime for 3 yrs. as a sleep aid for fibromalgia & anxiety. It terrifies me that it can cause TD or dystonia. I want to stop taking it, yet cannot take the z-drugs. Ambien & others wire me up & I can't sleep at all. Rozerem is more for getting to sleep. I need it to stay asleep too. 3 yrs. ago I was put on Ativan and became dependent on it.
I felt like electricity was shooting through my body, it was horrible. I was unable to sleep, I probably slept no more than 1-2 hours a night for 1-2 weeks. I tried to go to work but was sent home, everyone could tell something was wrong, I was pale, pouring sweat and shaking all the time. Then I got slammed with the deepest darkest depression imaginable, not a normal depression a terrible black hole.
thank you for your responses. i started with sleep meds like diazepam.i can't remember the anti psychotic durg names now. 9 years ago when i showed the prescription another pdoc, he said i am on anti psychotics. at that time i couldn't understand as he said so casually and didn't explain. earlier it was olanzipine, the latest one is quetiapine whcih i have stopped. now i am on trihexyphenidyl trifluoperazine H, lorazapam 1 mg, aripiprazole 5 mg.
t last long but this time my left leg and it wont go away and another doctor (internists) who said that i should do a vitamin D lab test as it is definitely the reason but i am not really convinced and i am just exhausted and asking for help for my leg and back pain and i take a weak paracetamol two times daily and Benfotiamine 40 mg +Vitamin B6 60 mg + Vitamin B12 250mcg in one medicine two times daily and Gabapentin (100mg) two times daily and also i take mental related medicine (Aripiprazole

You say you take Ativan and have since May of this year. Ativan should not cause the symptoms you're describing. The aripiprazole, (Abilify) is usally added as an adjunct to antidepressants, and some people exhibit a hypersensitivity to it.

Point being is that if all he is taking now is risperdal and he is not getting a help either med wise or behavioral therapy for his ADHD - then his ADHD is probably making both his and your life pretty miserable.
I have been taking sertraline and aripiprazole for schizo-affective disorder I have now been been put onto amitriptyline for pain relief. I am also epileptic and take tegretol, lamotrigine and levetiracetam to control seizure's.
