aripiprazole crazy meds

I hate putting things that aren’t natural into my body- aka prescription meds multiple times a day. I switched to HempPaste last week and I feel amazing! But I want to come off my prescriptions. Any ideas how to decrease dosage until I’m off them completely? My doctor is against marijuana as a treatment and isn't being helpful at all.

t bother me, but my body is used to the meds already. So maybe you should wait till your body is used to the meds before adding caffeine back in.

I might be pregnant and my psychiatrist told me not to worry about the embryo. He told me that even while I'm taking 15 mg of Aripiprazole and 50 mg of Sertraline daily, there is no danger. I'm really worried. if I'm pregnant,would these doses harm my embryo being taken daily?

This current period has given me constant diarrhea and no cramps or mood swings. I have been off my meds because i ran out of refills for 21 days now (i used to take 10mg aripiprazole, 80mg duloxotine, and bupropion HCL XL 300mg.) i dont know if that would effect my period but it’s worth a shot putting it out there. I feel as though something is really wrong but I cannot afford a doctor/emergency care because i have no insurance or income. Has anyone been in a similar situation?

Please read all side effects on the meds you take. Always go with the lowest dose that works for you. Many pdoc's just randomly increase a med for no reason at all, disregarding that the lower dose works. The more of a med you take, the more chance of side effects. That's not to say you won't get any side effects on any dosage. Hope this is helpful.

Hi I'm on 50mg of methadone and 10mg of aripiprazole and I'm wondering if I should keep taking the 2 together as it makes me mega drowsy and also is this combination a thing to worry av about can someone let me know please?

I have just started taking Aripiprazole(Abilify) and have found it to have some beneficial effects on my mood. However I am also finding myself to be extremely drowsy. I have heard that this side effect wears off with time. Has anyone else experienced this? It's the first antipsychotic I've taken that's had any effect so I don't want to stop it but the fact I can literally go to sleep while standing up is making my life difficult.

2 anti psychotics,one is trifluoperazine and trihexyphenidyl hydrochloride combo and other one aripiprazole mt 5 and 1 mg of lorazepam for sleep. i want to see my pdoc but i am afraid he will give me ect as i saw some nurses in his room which i never seen in past 12 years. i am quite numb and can't respond to any kind of assault. it is really frustrating. since i am on anti psychotics, can i stop it by taking half for 15 days and then quarter for 15 days.

did any body ever gain weight becuase of meds because i did when you get off the meds does the weight usually fall off or is it hard to lose

have you been to counseling to help sort out the root of your fear and anxietys? the type of meds you are on could also be causing your nightmares, it can be a side effect of the anti-psychotic meds.

Hello, I havne't been on any antidepressant because I'm so afraid of the weight gain. I tried Wellbutrin, but even at 50mg, my heart was racing and I couldn't sleep. I'm reading a little about Cymbalta. Does it make you gain weight? I'd love to hear about your experiences with meds and weight gain.

After, meds for a neuralgia in the mouth, i caught as a side effect tardive dyskinesia of the mouth and none of your bunch of doctors replyu that it seems like writing to a wall. What can help a tongue which moves all over or sticks out?

Thanks everyone for responding. It makes me feel better knowing I'm not the only one, that this is a common side. Everyhing I read and everything I was told at my clinic that the mental sides are uncommon, and the ones who do have probs, are the ones with a mental health history. Which I don't have. I did call up someone I knew who is dating a psychiatrist. I described to her my episodes, and all the meds I was on plus dosages.

You could try taking it in the morning because it typically keeps people awake and causes restlessness. Also, when i first started on aripiprazole (abilify) i experienced some side effects but they went away after a couple of weeks. Hopefully yours will go away as well, if they don't go away,however, talk to your psychiatrist. You don't have to deal with any unwanted side effects if you don't want to.
