Due to some weird problems with blood pressure I was taken off this (And other drugs) to try to figure out if one of the meds was the BP problem. Letting my estrogen levels go up restored my sex drive. This is just my amateur 2 cents worth (I am not a doctor) I think having too little estrogen can mess up your sex drive just as too little testosterone can.

If you have no prior history of high blood pressure i would think theres a very good chance as these meds do crazy stuff....... I have read here where those with high BP before tx saw it go down while on treatment...... Good luck going forward.

Your bottom number is a little high but not horrible! I am 35w3d and I have had constant high blood pressure since 26 weeks. Its always around 165/94. Since its been constantly high, I see my doctor every thursday for an ultrasound to check the babies heartbeat and fluid, a non-stress test, and a chat with my doctor! I also go in every wednesday to do blood work to check for preeclampsia. This week will be my 4th time doing it.

They help curve my nausea too. Ive never had high blood pressure from too much salt however in my past pregnancies(like in last trimester)if i ate them too often my feet would swell up pretty good. At this point its hard for me to ignore cravings. Sometimes your body craves what you need but just try to eat whatever it is in moderation.

So the last few weeks when I go to the doctor my blood pressure is high (can hit 160/110) so each time he sends me to l&d blood work is normal and the last visit was the only visit without protein in my urine. Hi... can anyone tell me if high blood pressure can cause shortness of breath? I just had it tested and it's 191/120 with a resting heart rate is 111... I'm asthmatic, but this is not the same.... I was sent to l&d yesterday by my ob because my blood pressure was high it was like 149/94 and i had protine in my urine. They kept me for a few hours and ran tests and took my blood pressure every 15 minuets it finally dropped down to 117/76. Im due tomrrow and just worried because i know shes not going to come and they said i wont be induced untill sometime next week and i woke up with a pressure headache feeling like im going to vomit.
