It could very well be the stomach flu
Other causes could be:
Food: such as you ate too much,
Getting checked for lactose intolerance may be a good idea,
Something that just normally upsets you e.g. Spicy foods,
Eating a food that's been around for a while and went bad.
Appendicitis
Stress
Tips to help you try and prevent this in the future:
Don't overeat,
Eat a good amount of fruits and vegetables,
Wash hands before eating,
Don't eat right before bedtime,
Get lots of sleep.
when he first had the symptoms was a day before i took him to the er he woke up with severe vomiting and stomach pain, his pcp diagnosed him with a stomach flu, i took him home and tried my best to make him keep liquids down and and keep him hydrated. the next morning he woke up with severe lower right abdominal pain and fever. i rushed him to the ER, after 3 hours of waiting the doctor ordered some xrays and notified me that my son had walking pneumonia.
My 9yr son just was in ER for right lower quad. pain,rebound tenderness, low grade fever, vomited x1, not wanting to eat very much. Initally thought was getting the stomach flu until he didn't persist with the vomiting or had diarrea. In ER Abdominal XRAY was done- results large amount of stool and gas on right side. Blood work checked- Mono and crp slightly evalated ( not enough for them to say appendicitis). they gave a popsicle to him that caused him to have increased painin RLQ.
On the one hand, if you've got the flu, you're sick and will be sick until you aren't sick anymore. On the other, if you're concerned, a doctor would be much more valuable to you than us. If it were appendicitis, I'd think the pain would be a whole lot more than what you're describing, but if you really think you ever do have that go directly to a doctor, not to a website.
A few days ago, I started to feel really sick, I had diarrhea, nausea, abdominal pain, no appetite and headaches.
He was in the hospital for a week as the doctor thought he had the flu. By the time they operated he was very sick and ended up in ICU. That surgery they said was from adhesions from an appendicitis operation he had in the sixties. His bowels did not work so they operated again and said he had a twisted bowel that they massaged. Now one year later these past two weeks he has been constipated and then had stomach pain nausea, vomiting and diarrhea.
Now the next day my lower right stomach is pretty tender, nowhere else, just lower right side. Should I be worried about appendicitis? Could it be tender from extreme gas and bloating?

I would like to know when you were diagnosed with diabetes. From what you have said regarding your symptom's, you may want to see a GI doctor. There is a complication called gastroparesis. My son, who is 27, was diagnosed with this 3 years ago.

An appendix is usually on the right side of your stomach and you will usually run a high fever with appendicitis. However, if you are still concerned, you can call your doctor and ask to speak to a nurse.
I pressed on my stomach a bit and it send a shooting pain through my belly button area. Its not SUPER painful, just more of a discomfort. I've also started urinating WAY more in the past hour and I'm not sure if its related but my knees began aching REALLY bad out of nowhere. If anyone can it would be appreciated.

As far as I know, the most apparent symptom of appendicitis (inflammation of the appendix) is a dull pain in the stomach on the right side, that moves to severe lower right abdominal pain.

two weeks ago I woke up with sever pain in my lower right stomach. The doctor had me get a CT scan to see if it was appendicitis, but it turned out to be a ruptured ovarian cyst. my doctor prescribed birth control to keep the cysts from forming. I started the pills the next day. One week later, I started experiencing nausea and depression. I felt like I didn't want to eat, and I threw up but felt better later on.
Whenever I lay on my right side I encounter stomach pain which starts from the middle and moves over to my right side. What could possibly be the cause of that?
I have been diagnosed with hemorrhoids so seeing blood in my stool was not that shocking, what was shocking was that it was a lot more blood than usual. After that my stomach started hurt badly like cramps and a couple of hours later it become notable in the belly button area. The pain feels like it is deep in my stomach and it is constant, I am very bloated and burp all the time. It is worse during the morning and night. I have no appetite because I feel so full all the time.
now i am developing the same pain again after about 20 hours, so i want to ask can it be appendicitis even if ultrasound doesnt show it? one of my friend got operated last month, she was having the same pain but ultrasound didnt show anything even then she got operated n now is fine!
