Common Questions and Answers about Appendicitis symptoms pregnant

appendicitis

If you don't mind me asking, what were your symptoms when you had the appendicitis scare? The doctor told me pregnancy can mask some of the classic signs and symptoms of appendicitis and that diagnostic tests such as ultrasound may show a normal appendix when there is actually an appendicitis.

What I learned from all of this, is if you have any kind of acute pain anywhere in the abdomen, and you don't fit any of the classic symptoms of an appendicitis, it still could be an appendicitis. Find a doctor you can trust and takes you serious. So yes, as diagnosed from the post op lab report, there is such as thing as chronic appendicitis.
What makes a person decide that it might really be appendicitis and to go to the doctor? If I throw up, get a fever, what? Thanks for any ideas, thoughts, input of any kind.

The withdrawal method is an extremely irresponsible form of protection, and should not be relied on for pregnancy prevention. As for your symptoms, few of them are related to pregnancy. These could be related to cysts, appendicitis, bowel obstruction, gas, hormonal imbalance or intestinal virus. Given that you're so late, and still having negative tests it's doubtful you're pregnant. You can see a doctor for an hCG blood test to find out what your beta levels are at.
It's certainly possible but the timing of everything doesn't seem super likely. If you ovulated on the 30th that's a little early. You can certainly get pregnant with an early ovulation, but that wouldn't be my first guess. Regardless, I think your test on the 4th was too early. Most tests won't show a positive until at least 8 days after ovulation, and usually closer to 12-14. Good luck!
or maybe she's got a stomach bug, or is psyching herself into symptoms by worrying. Personally, I think if my mom knew I had sex at 15 that might create some symptoms in me too.
If you did not have intercourse and he did not directly ejaculate inside of you, you are not pregnant. And no, sperm cannot get through clothing. Even if you were pregnant, you wouldn't be getting symptoms until about 8 weeks. Those symptoms are probably from you getting ready to get on your period?
I thought maybe I was pregnant but test turned up negative. It might of been too early but I have had no energy lately. I get at least 7 to 8 hours of sleep so I don't knwo why I am so tired. Does anyone know what it is.
For at least a year now I have been getting a cramping sensation when I am not on my period. I am definitely not pregnant as I am on birth control and take it reliably. The pain comes and goes intermittently, lasting anywhere from a few minutes to a few days and recurs on an irregular schedule. Sometimes I'll get it for a few days and then not at all for a month or more, and sometimes I'll get it for the better part of a month solid.
Sorry I meant office visit 2/22/13 not 2012. I will be taking another test in the morning as I have yet to come on my period. I still have all the pregnancy symptoms but no period. I'm scared to see either result.
I have had reoccurant uti like symptoms for a few months..all my cultures show no infection just white blood cells..I've seen a urologist who did a bladder ultrasound and cystoscopy both normal..I saw my gyn who did a pelvic ovaries were normal..he did not give me a ultrasound though..should I persue further testing since this could be a symptom of ovarian cancer? Hi, has jaundice been ruled out? It can cause symptoms of nausea. The other causes for your symptoms are gastroenteritis (infection), gastritis, peptic ulcer disease, systemic infections, appendicitis, intracranial hypertension, hepatitis, eating disorders, inner ear disorders, and certain medications. Discuss these options with your doctor when you happen to meet him next time.
So log in what you eat and the symptoms as they appear. See if there is a correlation between your symptoms and the food you ate sometime back. Intolerance can be to food preservatives, gluten, starch, protein, certain types of fats, eggs, meat, chicken, sea food, citrus fruits etc. Along with Pantoprazole, discuss with your gynecologist and take antacid gels to decrease the inflammation of the gut lining. This will help a lot. Probiotics may also help. Take care!
Hello, I was just wondering if anyone has ever experienced what they thought to be pregnancy symptoms right after conception(before implantation) and they actually turned out to be pregnant? Just curious.
So I thought I was pregnant (never experience symptoms b4 period). Yesterday I started spotting/light bleeding. Today I bled more like a light period. I know implantation bleeding is spotting/streaking..but I read someone's post where with her 1st baby she thought she was having her period..it lasted for 5 days but it was implantation. Do u think it is possible for my implantation bleeding to be heavier b/c I just miscarried and my uterus isn't completely healed?
I have had plenty of early pregnancy symptoms and I am hoping and praying that I am pregnant. Me and my husband have wanted a baby for so long and I just want it to happen so bad. It's all that I can think about.
their family is usually on there saying they couldn't even tell they were pregnant. My mom didn't feel my sister kick the whole time she was pregnant. I still don't know how they could mistake pushing a baby out for a poo though. Crazy stuff happens I guess.....
I am Pregnant with my second child. I never had morning sickness with the first and with this one, still not too morning sickness but for the third time now I have had vomiting and diarrhea at the same time happening. I thought it had to do with what I was eating, because the first 2 times it happened after having fast food (which I rarely do anyways), but this last time it happened shortly after eating eggs, toast and fruit.
It almost felt like that same feeling you get in your stomach right before the baby gets ready to kick, if you've been pregnant before. I'm having too many symptoms, just praying to find something out really soon.
Does that mean i won't be able to get pregnant since i am not ovulating? A few weeks ago i was getting really bad cramps but no period, what does that mean? I want to be pregnant but with no period yet i don't know if its possible?? Any thoughts are appreciated. Thanks!
I had my tubes tied and burned 21 years ago and I now have missed two periods and have all the symptoms of being pregnant. I am going to get a test this weekend and see.
Implantation bleeding can be one of the earliest pregnancy symptoms. About 6-12 days after conception, the embryo implants itself into the uterine wall. Some women will experience spotting as well as some cramping. Other Explanations: Actual menstruation, altered menstruation, changes in birth control pill, infection, or abrasion from intercourse. Delay/Difference in Menstruation: A delayed or missed menstruation is the most common pregnancy symptom leading a woman to test for pregnancy.
I was hospitalized on Friday night with sever pain to my right side the doctors have stated its either the start of appendicitis or a torn ligament. Awaiting test results. I'm on complete bed rest until I get the results if it is appendicitis what will they do and is there any chance it could hurt my baby. Also got the results of my last blood test which indicated my liver function was down. I don't drink or smoke or do that stuff even prior to being pregnant it was very rarely I'd drink.
My sister had appendicitis when she was pregnant. If the pain doesn't go away after a while, look up the symptoms of appendicitis and see if that sounds possible, and if so go to the doc.
I have never in my life had tummy pain like this before. This started before I got pregnant. My Tummy is so sensitive. This is only going to get worse as Lil Peanut grows. I am really worried about it also (which I am sure doesn't help). What if it is something like appendicitis. Gall bladder ok - can manage that. But this pain is lower right and lower left.
