and all of a sudden I have this SHARP pain on my right side. Right/diagonally above my hip. Im 12 weeks pregnant with twins. I have tried moving my body pillow and blankets to position myself more comfortably... but can still feel it. Pain at first was a 6/7 (small pain1-10being horrible ).. now positioned its at a 2 then a 6/7 again. Kinda like off and on...
Should I be worried?
I started to have massive pain on my right side and it is just getting worse. I'm currently on amoxicillin for a uti and I'm extremely tired. Could I be having an appendicitis?
Right side pain can sometimes indicate appendicitis. When the doc released the pressure, did you have pain then, called "rebound pain". Are you nauseous? Running a fever? If it continues, I would see another doctor and ask for more tests, one being a white blood count, it is better to be safe than sorry.
A year or so later I was given a capsule endoscopy and they thought they saw something in the photos it took so I was referred to a doctor to do a double balloon enteroscopy retrograde. Unfortunately this too came back normal and afterwards I had moderate lower right side abdominal pain.
It is not a sharp or severe pain, just a dull ache very low on my right side just above my groin - near bikini line. There is no pain when pressing just a consistant ache. I took pepto because i was feeling bloated but it didn't really help. Normal bowel movements, no fever, no nausea no vomiting. I feel pressure in the area - not a painful pressure but sort of like something is pushing. When I push on the right side of my stomach i feel a swooshing almost like water.
You should seek medical help as soon as possible.
The two symptoms may be connected. The "migraine headache" may in fact be that you have a fever.
Lower side abdomen pain may be appendicitis, or a viral or bacterial infection of the lymph gland in that area. Lymph glands that are inflamed in the abdomen can mimic appendicitis. Swollen lymph glands in the abdomen is called Mesenteric Adenitis.
Right side can be appendicitis. They need to check this again.
I had chronic appendicitis with my daughter.. paid started just before I conceived. Kept getting worse and worse and no one was believing me except my obe, who kept sending me to gastro doctors who told me there was nothing wrong and to come back after the baby was born (in 6 months). Finally the pain was so bad my obe admitted me to the hospital.

I have a bad pain in my right side of my abdomen. I was taking HCG drops. Had a ct scan, xray and ultrasound done yesterday and they dont know what is causing the pain. I have a stinging pain in lower right side of abdominal(similar place where the appendix is) and the pain is appeared irregulary(especially when lying on my back).
I don't feel this pain in normal or during working somthing else but the pain always occurs when I lie on my back with stretched legs(so, I have been sleeping on my side bending my right knee for about 2 years as I can't lie on my back).
I took plan B on the last day of my period which was december 25th and starting on the 29th i had soreness in what seems like right above the ovaries, a pain on each side of my abdomen. I also have this pulsating around my belly button and it will shoot down to the right side then give me back pain. I also have headaches and have gotten easily hot and overheated during the night. I know im not pregnant because ive testes and JUST came off my period and it was normal. Could this be my apendix?
My issue is I am severe sharp pain on my right side. My pills show I should have started Wensday, but I knows body I start 3 days later typically. So, while I am not worried about pregnancy I am tired of this pain. It has been there all day. Could it still be cyst on my ovaries, even with birth control. There are many reasons for the pain. Jaw pain and pain under the scapula( affectionately called your wings. The pallpations can of your heart are frighteming when unexpected. They all kinds of anxiety can cause an
escallation in your conscious pain experience. Scleroderma is another condition that can invade a heart and the lungs. A back massage has been known to reduce that back pain. Kidney stones can cause very awful pain in
the high back.
At this point I was still feeling a little constipated, my right side was still feeling a dull pain (though it felt deeper now if that makes sense). I believe it's important to state that this pain never moved during all this time. Though when I was constipated it made it even less pleasant and made my stomach hurt if I had a carbonated drink or anything that would create extra pressure. My doctor once again gave me tests (blood, urine) and they came out normal.

The pain feels very similar to muscle soreness, but I can feel the pain even more when I press or squeeze the area around the top of my right hip bone. The pain comes and goes, and I think may be related to a build up of stool, as I may wait days before having a bowel movement and the pain starts to develop, and it gradually eases after a few bowel movements.
