ve heard Prevpac (which is a combination of 2 antibiotics amoxicillin and clarithromycin + an antiacid medicine) has some nasty side effects...Has anyone been on it? If so, what was your experience like? She is apprehensive about taking antibiotics, but her doctor wants her to heal the ulcer (which is sizable).
my Apo B is 100 mg/dl. This is OK. My Aop A1 is 137 mg/dl. Should be>115. Ratio Apo B/Apo A1=0.73. Should be <0.77. My Lipoprotein (a) is 104 mmol/L (roughly 48 mg/dL). This is also OK. My Trigly~60, LDL-125, HDL - 50
All look good. Apo B is a new & a better marker than LDL
Now this is the issue. My LDL p is 1750 and this is a kind of high (ideally <1250). Why such glaring difference?

Hi, I am wondering if anyone knows the difference between apo-sertraline and pms-sertraline?
I can't afford to purchase my prescription for pms-sertraline, my mom takes the apo version and gets her prescriptions for free under gov't funding. If there's a difference, I obviously won't take her meds but if it's the same thing I don't see the harm.

So, had brief encounter with sex worker. I am a male and she a female, just for clarity and accuracy of response though I'm confident that this is irrelevant. In any case, I received oral sex lasting only a couple minutes then shortly after completed with handjob. I have bronchitis with a severe cough I am taking 50mg cortisone a day I am not able to cut down yet as the cough is too severe. It's been around 4 weeks since it started as a sore throat and moved down to my chest am taking antibiotics Clarithromycin 250mg & Doxycycline Monohydrate (50mg), Rikodeine or Codeine cough suppressant, Symbicort inhaler. I'm not sleeping well a couple of hours here and there and I'm exhausted, am severely constipated.

We decided to use a topical cream, for the more oily areas on my face, and for me to take a 100mg dosage of Apo-Minocycline two times a day (morning and night). This worked fantastic for a few months. Eventually, I developed this odd rash on one side of my neck. The skin was very red and dry, somewhat scaly/bumpy, a bit raised, uneven + about the size/shape of my thumb. It kind of itched/hurt as well. I wasn't sure if it was connected to my skincare or not, so I continued with my routine.

As fas as I know, nexium (esomeprazole) only interferes with biaxin (clarithromycin). It heightens the amount of esomeprazole by inhibiting the degradation of esomeprazole. I took 1500mg of Clarithromycin ER, and 1875mg of Amoxicillin that night. The following morning took another 1gm of the Niacin ER & 1375mg of Amoxicillin.
Right now I'm on apo-escitalopram and apo-trazadone but I like zopiclone over the other one and I have some left over from a past prescription. Is it dangerous to make the switch?

Will Clarithromycin help clear up any of the STD's that I might have caught during the act?
There is not too much info on Clarithromycin and STD's out there. I know one thing it is sure working on my respiratory infection big time.

He had some left over clarithromycin 500 mg about 10 days worth and he began taking that. I told him he should just get tested but he dosent have insurance currently and is unemployed. He said even if I have an std clarithromycin should clear it up its a very strong anti-bacterial antibiotic. Is this true?
prescribed the triple therapy which consists of Lanzoprazole 30 mg, Amoxicillin 500 mg and clarithromycin 500 mg. The problem is that she told me to take only one pill of amoxicillin (500mg) every 12 hours but it was supposed to be two pills (1g) according to FDA and other resources. I am very concerned because I know that this bacteria becomes resistant to antibiotics. What should I do?, How long do I wait before I take another test to see if the bacteria is gone or not?
About a month ago I was prescribed a course of Clarithromycin for a skin infection. Since taking the drug I've suffered huge surges of adrenaline, which kicks in like a lighting shot at the point of sleep. It kept me away many nights and I was beside myself with worry. It's now more than three weeks since I stopped the medication (I only completed 2.5 days out of 7) and I find that the adrenaline surges have subsided somewhat.
