Another thing that would be good for him but he will have to want to do it himself. He needs to step out of his comfort zone begin socializing and maybe having a meal with another person. Avatar n tn Hmm, depressed to have anxiety (sounds a lot like my initiation to anxiety -- I was clueless about the need to deal with anxiety or the how, so ended up with a major sleep problem, eventually started hallucinating, experienced deep depression and needed six months on prozac to straighten me out). So, your main problem is anxiety (correct?). And you recognize that if you can reduce your nervous tension (relax), you'll largely have solved your problem and not become depressed.

370181 tn?1595629445 I am a 61 y/o woman diagnosed with psoratric arthritis when I was 18. Back then it was just in my knees, but now the only joints that are not affected are my elbows. (YIPEE. huh?) LOL About 10 years ago when the pain become quite bad and chronic, I managed with just mega doses of aspirin and the odd script from the doc for a mild pain med. I have now been through prednisone, methotrexate, Enbrel, Humara(Humira? sp) then back to Enbrel.......then nothing.
