Avatar m tn Being under constant stress can tax us in both these ways. Have you tried confronting your anxiety about this through counseling? Anxiety, especially health anxiety, can really be hard to overcome sometimes and can get you trapped into a certain pattern of thinking...by gaining the long term knowledge, you can actually give yourself the 'mental freedom' to start feeling better...keep us posted!
Avatar n tn What ECN said. Fatigue is a symptom of anxiety, when my anxiety gets going I feel run down all the time.
Avatar f tn This fatigue is making my anxiety levels rise because once again I am thinking that there may be something the doctor missed because i feel soooooooooooo tired. Is this just adjusting to the medication?
Avatar m tn The chemical imbalance thing he's referring to is the one about serotonin. That is baloney. Cortisol excess is a result of anxiety attacks, not the cause. Right now the main research for the cause is the amygdyla, but there's been little success in cracking this nut. Now, if medication causes problems, and that happened to me as well, that chemical imbalance was created by inducing one with medication, but that's different than anxiety not caused by medication.
Avatar m tn Does anybody else get fatigue with their anxiety? My typical pattern is for really bad anxiety first thing in the morning, which lessens as the day goes on. But this is often replaced with extreme fatigue and drowsiness. I think the two are connected in some way, as I was far less drowsy when I took lorazepam first thing in the morning for a few months last year. Although I go through periods of poor sleep, the drowsiness can be there even after a good nights sleep.
Avatar f tn Wellbutrin, from what I know of it, does not help much with anxiety. Is the Lexapro helping with your anxiety? If so, this may be a good combo for you. Only your Dr can say for sure though.
Avatar f tn Hi, I'm not sure if this is a mood disorder, but this is as close as I can get. Anyway, can anxiety cause fatigue and irritability? Lately, I've been paranoid about pregnancy and and I'm very anxious about it that I couldn't sleep well so can anxiety cause fatigue and irritability? Thanks!
Avatar m tn Can Anxiety cause diarrhea, fatigue, canker sores? If it can, how common does this occur among people, that worry about getting these symptoms? for example, if you worry about getting diarrhea, or becoming very tired, is it fairly likely that you can receive those symptoms?
Avatar f tn Hello, I recently went to the doctor because of extreme fatigue & total inability to lose weight. I mean, rice cakes & fruit & 1 hour at the gym every day before work.... But more the fatigue. My doctor put me on cymbalta for anxiety about a month ago which helped temporarily with how tired I was, but I went to an endo as well, and my thyroid antibodies were high and I have 2 nodules less than 10 mm. So far the endo said to watch & I have a follow up in May!
Avatar m tn Can anxiety cause me to have a mild fever off and on with fatigue that is off and on for the last 3 weeks? I have been stressing a lot lately of something I did that was very terrible and have not been feeling well. I'm hoping its because of this and not something else. I feel guilty, depressed, anxiety, and stressed. I am also stressed of what other medical things this could be if its not the anxiety causing it. If that's relevant. Thanks for your feedback on this.
Avatar f tn At which stage of adrenal fatigue are you? Have you had saliva and urine tests taken? Do you suffer anxiety and panic attacks in addition to fatigue?
Avatar n tn i think drinking can bring on sx or even stopping drinking might get them going...also i have to wonder if too much exercise or too much anxiety gets it going ..i get the fatigue thing...comes once or twice everyday..and i can't drive or work..have to fall asleep for an hour..then i'm ok..the fatigue is truely debilitating...feels like you've been kept awake for a couple days..and as far as blood sugar..
Avatar f tn How long has your brother been on Zoloft? Fatigue and moodiness (especially fatigue) are common side effects of antidepressants. It definitely takes some time to adjust to medication and medications may not reach their full effect until you have been taking them for 4-6 weeks. I think if your brother has been taking Zoloft for over a week or two and is really not liking the way it makes him feel, he needs to talk to his doctor and maybe move on to something different. Hope this helps some!
Avatar n tn I am having weird feelings and kind a lot of anxiety today. I feel like I want to jump out of my skin.
Avatar m tn s what I thought I had - exhausted adrenal glands from giving me too much adrenalin, causing me great anxiety. I now post in the anxiety forum of this site. Hope this helps.
391834 tn?1229342874 ve just started taking meds for my thyroid so hopefully my symptoms (fatigue and generalized felling of anxiety/nervousness) will be no more!
Avatar f tn People who have chronic fatigue syndrome aren't necessarily anxious, at least not the chronic anxiety that is the mental disorder. If you're tired from anxiety, the anxiety would come first, then fatigue over a period of time. But often fatigue is caused by depression, which often goes hand in hand with anxiety.
1486478 tn?1307462997 This crap is getting on my nerves. How is someone supposed to go on with their life when these random symptoms occur, for no reason at all? I've been fighting through the pvcs. They've already made my life hell for the past 4 months now. But I was just hit with this sudden onset of fatigue. Extreme tiredness, and just a huge loss of energy, and It's a bit scary. I'm not panicking, but it's a bit frightening because I don't know what it is.
