I'm thinking because of the pseudoephedrine ingredient, kids may think they'll get a "speed" type of feeling. Mostly it's a rapid heart rate if you take too much. I WAS TAKING 1/2 THE DOSE OF OVER THE COUNTER SLEEP AID FOR ABOUT 6 MONTHS ON A NIGHTLY BASIS, AND STARTING HAVING TOLERANCE WITHDRAWAL SYMPTONS. I QUIT COLD TURKEY AND WENT INTO FULL BLAST WITHDRAWAL.
