Avatar n tn I'd like to know what my blood test results may mean. I've taking diet pills (ephedrine/caffeine) for a few years. In last year my endurance has decline. About 8 months ago I started noticing Fatigue, memory problems, body aches and problems maintaining erections. I started taking pregnenolone and 7-keto DHEA thinking it would increase testosterone. I finally went to my doctor 2 1/2 months ago. He ordered blood tests.

Avatar m tn If you go to your doctor and tell him you want to taper, he may be able to give you something for the depression and or anxiety. You may try posting in the addiction and substance abuse forum here on medhelp. They have a lot of good advise about coming off opiates.
Avatar f tn Hi I m wondering if anxiety could be associated with my menstral cycle coupled with mild depression. I do have an anxiety disorder but Ive been feeling heavier anxiety than usual for the past 2 days and I just got my period yesterday so Im wondering if that could be related to my menstral cycle due to increased hormones, etc. Ive been experiencing shortness of breath, nervousness, and some some light headiness.
Avatar m tn Thus overall from the time of performing cunnilingus and a week later cold infection and body pain, anxiety depression for 3 weeks , I am fine now with no cough, cold or any symptoms............I must say that the cold infection was really bad and i was really removing and sneezing out a lot of white mucus from my nose in those peak 3 days of cold infection.. ( hardly from the throat)...........can this be anywhere close to ARS........
Avatar m tn See Matt, this is why these forums are so great. You get many different perspectives. I never got sick like kathyjo, just felt incredibly edgy and nasty for those few days. Felt like crying alot too...which I did...alot lol. Each person has a different experience, but the one thing in common we all have and I'm sure would agree, is the thought that a cigarette is the answer to our woes and if we would just take that first puff, it would all go away.
Avatar n tn According to blood tests, his thyroid levels are now where they should be, but he is still experiencing symptoms of hypothyroid. Most of the symptoms he is still suffering with seem to be mental in nature - depression, irritability, and 'brain fog'. He is in the I.T. field (mainly database stuff) and these symptoms have severely hampered his ability to work. He can't seem to focus or problem-solve. This has been a nightmare for both of us. Is this normal?
Avatar f tn I was diagnosed with anxiety my junior yr of college. I had couple panic attacks in one week (it was during finals). I could not go to class, was avoiding public places due to the fear of panic attacks. I was put on clonopin and lexapro. I slept a lot, the meds helped; but i still did not feel like normal me. After couple months, instead of clonopin I was put on xanax and i had to take it everytime I felt anxious.
Avatar f tn I do suggest that you go back to your Medical Doctor and have an honest conversation with him/her where you might get a referral to a Mental Health Professional either in a group setting or private setting. I would love to see you in a group setting with men and women of your age and lifestyle who have all come together to bond and recover from the ravages of a life time of depression. Good luck to you and I do hope you have the best life that life has to offer you....
Avatar f tn I'm 28 years old and it's about time I start feeling good about life again! For the past 10 years I've bin suffering from anxiety and quite possibly depression. I have my ups and downs bur unfortunately more downs then ups:( looking for a little insight on this or possibly a medication out there specialized for anxiety and depression.
Avatar f tn Neurofeedback is proven to help with insomnia, anxiety, depression, ADD, ADHD and more. Many times children who have been abused act out and the abuse isn't discovered until years later. Seeing a good child psychologist would get him/her help sooner and avoid many more years of pain. An interesting fact is that 50% of adults with Bipolar experienced child abuse. What kind of message does a child get when they are given a pill to mask symptoms of child sexual abuse?
Avatar n tn I think depression can be a combination of things - both physical and emotional. I used to get mind blowing headaches, which was partly caused by my depression, and then because I had them, it made me feel emotionally worse. It's a nasty cycle. From what you've described, you've been under a ton of stress, getting married is up there in the stress meter! I know when I've been ill, which I went through recently, it sure made my mood drop.
Avatar m tn Does anxiety from having ARS due to a low risk infection might cause men to have night sweats for a week?
Avatar f tn To be honest, you sound like yes, you are having symptoms of depression and anxiety. Covid can have after symptoms but for someone that has had covid twice, I wouldn't go there to think you do. There are other things going on and a history with you that would make me think more mental health. What CAN you do? Well, what about digging into the mental health aspect? A psychologist who does dbt/cbt therapy?
Avatar m tn m close to the mirror (unsure if this is the early stage of wart formation). I also noticed a depression in that part of my face as well. Now its been about 9 days after my encounter and the redness on my face has nearly gone away but the bumps and depression remain. I would like to add, I've been acne free for years, and it does not appear to look like any sort of pimple I would have gotten.
11356079 tn?1421357818 I forgot to mention, you need to be really patient with them, this is a real condition just like the mother's post partum depression. About 1 in 10 men/father's develop this at one point during the pregnancy. It's really not about them trying to run away from the responsibilities or not wanting the baby. It makes it even harder for them because they're expected to be "real men" but they are actually humans with emotions just like us.
Avatar m tn definitely! you need to see your psychiatrist for treatment. i deal with the confusion almost daily and even medicine doesn't help much, but my psychiatrist isn't the best. i'm going to find a new one soon. some maybe depression too, i have anxiety with depression and mania cycles as well. anxiety can make you do some wierd things and it sounds like you have it.
