Avatar m tn hi. my age is 21. i am always having irritations, burns in my pubic, scrotum, penis and buttox regions. is there any vaccination to prevent this?
Avatar n tn ve posted are from yesterday, today after bath the irritations look very much like little rashes as you can see in the picture below which i took right after bath (those are little bigger than a regular ballpoint pen tip) and the ones that have more skin turned white, which happens when dead skin on rashes are exposed to water like in bath. Tell me what do you think picture here -> http://i37.tinypic.com/2aableg.
Avatar n tn t working is there any other medicines for skin irritations you know of I could suggest to the Doc? And any steps I could take to help heal my skin (i.e. apply warm wash cloth daily). This is really starting to bother me and I'm starting to believe this will never go away. Please help me, doc. Thank you.
Avatar f tn Hi, tip irritations like your describing are often fungal in nature and if this is the case you would need some fungal cream to help clear it up. Maybe talk to your drug store pharasist about this or see a doctor. Real std, like Gono or chlamydia, you would have irritations inside your penis not outside.
1397091 tn?1296576718 I'm not a doctor, but I've never heard of anyone getting skin irritations from FMS. You can certainly get skin irritation from the medications you might take for FMS, though.

1306855 tn?1273274238 The harsh chemicals used in the bleaching process of most leading brands can lead to skin irritations, among other things. In addition, the woven fabrics used in many brands can add to the issue. MerryLiving natural sanitary napkins are non-woven and chlorine free, as well as infused with 5 herbal plant essences. They don't contain any harmful chemicals and the fabric feels soft next to your delicate skin.
Avatar f tn Test for herpes if your concerned or have any new skin irritations swabed and tested for herpes or a PCR test to see if its something else. PCRs are very good tests as are DNA based.
Avatar f tn You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps. For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide). But they are available under prescription and should be taken only after consulting a dermatologist.
666921 tn?1254990618 I personally don't take antihistamine but just some advice I read that - antihistamine suppresses the immune system - never thought about it before - they work like steroids - some very good advice on another forum was - do not take antihistamine if you have lyme I am sure some of you already knew this but just thought I would mention it
Avatar n tn How long can i use antihistamine for my daughter aged 7 months to relieve her of the eczema itching.
Avatar m tn After taking amoxicillin (for dog bite to ear) only took them for 2 days as bad stomach upset and weak feeling/pain in arms & erythromycin about 3 to 4 weeks later for pimples on scalp about 4 to 5 days after the stopping the erythromycin due to bad stomach upset (going to toilet 5 to 6 times a day) my wrists went very red and sore (worse on right hand) dominant hand and also my hands constant flushing/hot/sore (could not even but hands in jean pockets so sore) Was given antihistamine shot
Avatar f tn Its been over a year and a half now but i have really dry skin and irritations. I even get painful pimples on my head. I been feeling really tired and during the day since i wake up i have a constant need to clear up my throat from thick mucus and my tongue looks a bit whiteish on the top wih some irritated taste buds. I also cough from time to time but its dry. My skin gets dry and bumpy at some spots.
Avatar n tn I moved from a very humid climate to a dry, colder climate/higher altitude this winter. Since moving here, we both have developed rashes throughout our body. Dry skin, kind of scaly but not quite, just noticible, red patches some no bigger than a dime some larger. They itch too. I have to assume that this is due to the climate change, but wonder what would be good treatment. I have tried a combination of a good moisturizer mixed with hydrocortisone cream with no luck.
Avatar f tn If theyve been there 3 weeks and you had the oral one week it would not be connected to the act. Most topical skin irritations are fungal related.
Avatar n tn does lisinopril 5mg.
Avatar n tn This could be allergic contact dermatitis. It may be useful to take an antihistamine tablet such as Piriton, available without prescription, in addition to using hydrocortisone. If it doesn't clear up promptly, see your doctor again as hydrocortisone whould not be used on the face for long periods. If you develop any other symptoms such as closing of the airways, difficulty breathing or swelling of the tongue or fingers seek medical advice immediately. Allergic reactions can be serious.
