Yup! I got chigger bites really bad at 8 weeks. So bad that they started blistering and the skin started ulcerating from my feet to mid thighs. They gave me a shot of rosefrin and gave me keflex. They always make sure it's safe. Just ask for some Zofran as well with it because they can make your morning sickness worse, or if you don't have sickness it'll make you feel like poop! I'm 31 weeks asked I had a kidney infection and just had to go on another round of keflex. Good luck!
I got bit by a dog on my leg and the bite wasn't to bad but it did break skin so I got put on antibiotics for 10 days and I'm nervous that it's not ok to take. But Iv been taking the recommended dose for like 3 days now. I'm 19 weeks pregnant now.
can antibiotics for prostatitis be given in an intramuscular injestion insted of taking them oraly and would this cut down on side effects like stomach upset please someone answer this question for me it seems difficult to get questions answered here

Went to a doctor, he took samples and came to conclusion it was a fungus or allergic reaction to a plant. told him that it had spread and was getting worse, now sections of torso starting to turn into infected areas. 2 brothers had a rash appear (and after swimming in a public pool) it has become severe and after several visits to a couple of different doctors it has been diagnosed as a staph infection. Will the results be altered by already having the antibiotics on board?
As Katarina and I suggested in our previous comments,your symptoms would not have gotten better with the antibiotics if you really had IBC
If you continue to be overly concerned about it I can only advise you to talk to your doctor and express your worries as you are doing here and ask him what are your best options regarding some tests that you would like to do to alleviate your worries and to make sure that you don't have IBC.

In general, I counsel patients about things they can do to avoid redness, skin sensitivity, flushing, and dry skin that don't involve medications. For milder cases, this can be sufficiency
First, patients should avoid spicy foods, alcohol, stress, sunlight, and extreme temperatures as these make flushing worse.
In regards to skin care, patients should keep their skin moisturized with emolients. These are available over the counter (i.e. Eucerin, etc).
I was on Doxy 100mg for about a month for antimalarial reasons, saw a slight improvement in my skin, and was then prescribed Doxy 50mg for acne indefinitely. I’ve been on this for about 3 weeks.
I have definitely noticed fewer pimples, but I still have the odd one here and there. I’ve also been using 10% Benzoyl Peroxide gel which I think has worked wonders.
I would like to go off Doxy 50mg to see if it is the Doxy or the Benzoyl which has helped my skin.
I go onto antibiotics at the first sign of any abscess (for me a lump) and am usually on them for months at a time, until it is fully clear.
Sorry there was a typo on my first post I should have said And, the dose you took for your face (or skin) maybe different than what you would be treated for your CT /GC or an STD. I was pretty tired when I wrote. I also meant to say that If these tests come back negative I wouldn't worry. If you were exposed (obviously by having unprotected sex or whatever reason), there could be other STD's to worry about.

you do know that using an antibiotic on cats can be dangerous...you have to be very sure there is an actual infection, than the culture needs to show what antib will work for that strain.
