antibiotics

Avatar f tn when my water was checked in surgery it did show blood protein and something else was abnormal 2 but just given more antibiotics i do suffer with fatigue and problems sleeping because of discomfort
Avatar f tn I am prone to kidney infections too. Most likely the antibiotics are breaking up the infection that was in the kidney....the pain you feel it the kidney healing it self abf exiting the infection! If you still have the pain after you have finished your Meds contact your doctor! Also push lots and lots of water!
Avatar f tn I went to urgent care the other day because I was having really bad pain in my low back and could barely walk. The doctor said I had a Kidney infection and prescribed me antibiotics. My question is I have been taking them for 3 days now twice a day and been drinking lots of water, but my pain is still there it hasnt went away. Also when I woke up this morning I went pee and my right side hurt really bad for atleast 10 mins.
Avatar f tn I ended up in even more pain Saturday evening and they admitted me and finally realized it was a kidney infection. I spent from Saturday night until Wednesday afternoon. I was on iv antibiotics and iv fluids the whole time. I was discharged with instructions for modified bed rest and had to take macrobid the rest of my pregnancy to avoid it reoccurring. I ended up having my son at 35 weeks.
Avatar f tn Antibiotics for UTIs and kidney infections are often the same ones, so hopefully if it is a kidney infection it clears it up too. I've had a kidney infection before and it was terrible pain :/ Hope you get sorted out and feel better soon!

Avatar f tn Hi, Usually, the signs and symptoms of kidney infection begin to clear up within a few days of treatment. Take the entire course of antibiotics recommended by your doctor to ensure that the infection is completely eradicated. Recurrent kidney infections may result from an underlying medical problem, such as a structural abnormality.
8765505 tn?1399764936 I had to take keflex for a kidney infection and I'm on Tylenol 3 with codine for my migraines but I take it only when I absolutely need...
Avatar f tn Hi! I hope by now that your kidney infection has responded to antibiotics. If you are not better, you should definitely go back to your doctor. Usually a kidney infection will respond quickly to antibiotics. An ovarian cyst can either get better quickly, or the pain can persist. Again, if you are not better, you should go back in to your doctor's office. If nothing else, they can give you something for pain. In the mean time.
Avatar n tn I'd go back to the clinic as it could be that it is a kidney infection and the bacteria are resistant to the antibiotics you have. I know you don't want to cancel your trip but your health must come first!
3242115 tn?1447004766 I have a throat infection, a kidney infection, and now a yeast infection, all of which don't seem to be improving and I take my last antibiotic for my throat and kidney infection tomorrow. Should I seek more help? How serious can it get if I don't bother go back to the doctors about it or get treated?
1840402 tn?1355432565 A UTI is nothing to play around with. Left untreated it can travel to the kidneys and cause a kidney infection that can be dangerous to both you and your child. Amoxicillin is one of the most widely prescribed antibiotics during pregnancy and has not been shown to cause any harm to a human fetus. Take the medication to clear up the infection, the last thing you want is for it to get worse.
Avatar f tn t feel like I have a UTI and my urine is clear and taking antibiotics at 9 weeks makes me nervous. Should I take antibiotics or should I try to cure it with cranberry juice because I have no symptoms at all?!
Avatar f tn You could have an obstruction or an infection in the kidney. I was quite close to dying from kidney failure when I was given the wrong antibiotics to take. This is nothing to mess around with. Please go to the ER, see a urologist, GP or urgent care.
Avatar m tn it sounds like a water infection you need to go to the doctors for treatment before it gets worse and causes a bad infection in the kidneys, make sure you are drinking alot of fluids to it helps to flush it away
Avatar f tn m am ANTI antibiotics.....but when I was 13 weeks pregnant I got a really bad Infection from a broken wisdom tooth and had to take them to kill infection before having it pulled.
