good point that I missed...you know, I was getting these relatively expensive eye drops from a doc...(I find most of the name brand eye drops not really helpful, you have to keep using them and they don't moisturize that well) and then JimJim turned me on to these you can get at the drug store otc...
Genteal (the one I use is the Mild)...they work better then anything on the shelf in my opinon...a little more expensive but well worth it...

I have used 2 types of face creams I think have made it worse - both were over the counter daily anti-aging moisturizers - but thats not the only time it seems to get worse. I just went through cataract surgery in November. It can be very worth it but there is a lot of aftercare and there can be complications. My dog did not have any issues other than the cataracts except for some inflammation. After surgery we had to deal with one minor ulceration and one fairly major ulceration. She is now healed and doing great. She is no longer fearful like she became when she couldn't see, and no longer slamming into walls either!
