10 days ago I developed a rash on the tops of three toes (not in between the toes at all). It was very itchy and I treated it with cortisone cream (Coincidentally, I had worn new shoes the day before). The cream did not seem to work; the rash felt better when I put a cold pack on the rash. I just want to thank you for taking the time to respond to my "Horrible Hives on Face" post. I also thought a follow-up comment may be helpful to others with a similar problem. After a week of misery with the hives covering my face, I finally got some relief by seeing an allergist who prescribed prednisone (oral steroid) which he said was stronger than the medrol pack, along with a prescription hydrocortisone cream to be used 2x day.
