For 2 days she used some home remedies but as the pain and burning sensation persisted she consulted a dermatologist (doctor no 1) who said it was an insect bite and she was prescribed topical application ( 1 anti fungal cream and 1 anti bacterial cream) + an anti fungal powder. I have used 2 types of face creams I think have made it worse - both were over the counter daily anti-aging moisturizers - but thats not the only time it seems to get worse. Hep C is a virus, and as far as I know nothing you've mentioned except perhaps one is an anti-viral. I think if she keeps on licking the spots until the point that they keep bleeding, you should take her to the vet. If this is persistent behavior, you should go to the vet.
