Yes you can have stomach pain along with many other symptoms. Anorexia and Anorexia Nervosa are actually two different things.. Anorexia is simply not eating, it doesn't necessarily mean you don't WANT to eat, just a lack of eating for whatever reason. Anorexia Nervosa (what people are usually talking about when they use the term Anorexia) is when you don't eat because you think you are fat, or you have a strong fear of gaining weight.
However, in my 28 year of clinical experience, I understand it as a subset of Anorexia Nervosa. This is my professional opinion. The underlying dynamics are quite similar to what we have seen in anorexia for years. It's only in the recent years as our society has focused on pure, organic, and raw foods has this new obessive compulsive form of restriction emerged and is has now been coined orthorexia.
I tend to be the same as leftcoastchick - doctor is the person you need, I know anorexia needs serious help and counselling but id also wonder if it is anorexia which has fairly specific symptoms and behaviours as opposed to not eating which is indeed possibly an attempt at suicide.

Do not blame yourself for your PCOS. Research shows that females diagnosed with anorexia nervosa had their polycystic ovary disease symptoms prior to weight loss. Their body mass index was higher when their menses stopped. In addition, their LH and estrogen levels were higher than those adolescents with anorexia only. PCOS occurs in 10% of females during reproductive age. The cause is still unknown.

Diagnosis of eating disorders requires you to step outside of it and ask for help. The best place to start may be to have a physical and express your eating practices and concerns over your weight at that time. Hi about three or so years ago I went through a long period of anorexia nervosa, I was checking labels, eating barely any fat foods, always feeling terrible if i aint something unhealthy, and on top of that running 10 miles and working out every day because I thought i was fat. Once then period ended, I immediately began to binge eat at every meal, and would get incredibly bloated and distended (pregnant).
I have suffered with tachycardia on and off for the last 20 years. I also suffered with anorexia nervosa from the same time, age of 15.
In the last year, this condition has exacerbated tremendously. HR 184/5 with moderate daily activity (I am a home Mom) together with low BP.
A 48 HR ECG monitor showed at night sleep my HR is close to 80. Upon waking up shoots to 126 then shoots to 184 without effort or exerting myself. Cardio advised increase sodium, magnesium and calcium intake.
I have a friend right now that is suffering from Anorexia Nervosa. She is at the state where she is in need of immediate medical attention, and i am fighting for that right now.

When children do not eat for awhile, they cry because they are hungry. Symptoms of anorexia is hair loss (lots of it), development of peach like body hair, bad teeth, emotional problems, stomach problems, heart problems, etc. She needs help. She will intitially be upset about it, but eventually she will get over it.
