Mostly it appears to be thinning and I began to notice it about a month ago and to me it seems to be getting worse by the week. There is no history of hair loss in my family men or women before menopause. I have been experiencing irregular periods for the past two year but they have recently been regular. It seems strange to me that a female of my age would be having hair loss. Do you think its permanent? What should I do?

Oh my gosh, so sorry for your question going unanswered for so long. This is very important. It's obviously time to really get serious about the anorexia. It's a difficult diagnosis in general. It can be difficult to get proper nutrition when pregnant and having an eating disorder and so babies can then have a low birth weight. Trying to get the right number of calories as well as staying hydrating and not over exercising will be your challenge and one to take seriously.

Cold peripheries or cold hands and feet can happen due to peripheral vascular disease or disorder of the circulatory system outside of the brain and heart. I noticed just today that I have weird freckle-like spots under my eyes and where people develope crows feet. They are a redish purple color, don't hurt, and there's just a few under both eyes. ( ive kinda had anorexia for the past 4 years... ive never had it properly diagnosed but ive got most of the symptoms and quite alot of people have said i am e.g.

first of all your periods stop because you are starving your body, and messing up all your hormone levels and plus you have no body fat. i have had an ed for almost 12 years and i didnt get my period i think till i was 18 it is not healthy to do. i have tremendous amounts of knowledge of this disease and if you ever need someone to talk to please just leave a message for me.

I'm sorry but that's horrible advice! I've had anorexia since I was 14 (and disordered eating since I was 7), I'm now 20. I've seen many friends manage their anorexia and one die from it. Keeping a food diary with everything you eat is a bad idea because it reinforces the obsessive relationship with food, you'll be counting calories and trying to eat smaller portions so it looks better on your log, and feeling horrible about how "much" you've had.

You could have lyme disease or be infected with some other kind of bacteria. Not all bacteria shows up in our blood work. Are you an ourdoors person. You don't have to be in a wooded area or have a bullseye rash to have lyme disease. Fatigue, neck pain, lower back pain are the mane symtoms. My husband, my son and myself are all being treated for lyme. It is causing us to have all of your symptoms plus many more.
