He said that the scans don't show any cause for this to be happening and it looks like it is curving in rather than the bone thinning in that area. At this point it isn't affecting my brain, so he wants me to repeat the scans in October and come back so he can see if there are any changes. I'm concerned it may be linked to a cardiovascular problem because yesterday i was experiencing a twinge like pain in my chest. Today my left shoulder has been achy all day the pain is a bit like after you get an injection/vaccination. What could be the cause? I can't get a doctors appointment till thursday.
Orthorexia nervosa is a sister disease of anorexia (i looked it up). it says that a person stops eating several nutritional factors because they think it is bad for them. it is progressing, mostly starting with not eating nutrion that has fat or glucose in them. I was wondering if anybody here has heard or knows anyone with this condition (better explanation on wikipedia). And I am wondering where i can check if she might use pills to stimulate diarhea.
Since you do want to stop it cold turkey since in some case in can lead to suicide and some effects are really bad. Here's what wikipedia had to say on the Mirtazapine withdrawal. Mirtazapine and other antidepressants generally produce a degree of physical dependence and may cause a withdrawal upon discontinuation, though such effects are usually much less severe with mirtazapine in comparison to the SSRIs and related drugs.
This drug is used to treat epilepsy in both children and adults. In many cases it can also be used as an antidepressant. In children it is also indicated for treatment of Lennox-Gastaut syndrome (a disorder that causes seizures and developmental delay). It is also Food and Drug Administration (FDA) approved for, and now most frequently prescribed for, the prevention of migraines.
Again I have no idea if it is related, but I know it is ugly. Then I went in to my doctor a couple of months ago to find out about muscle relaxers for my neck because it was causing problems and then he quizzed me about other things like pins and needles poking me, and intolerance to temperature. I was also having pains in my foot at the time. So I had xrays done on my feet and a MRI done on my spine and my brain.
Even if one of them did, your risk for HIV would be low if your exposures were unprotected, the average risk of getting HIV if one has unprotected sex with an infected partner being less than 1 in 1000. In your own case, condoms were used correctly, consistently and without breakage making this safe, virtually no risk sex. Thus, from your report of exposures, I see no reason for concern that you might have acquired HIV from the exposures you describe. Q1.

I will check out your link. Now that I am in college again, I do have access to lots of data in the library. Wow, I was going to do a research paper (love them) and when last I did one, only ERIC was available. I was so overwhelmed, I chose option # 2, watch a video and read some manuals. I need to figure this out! I will look for Hepatology. It is $1800. a year to subscribe! I think I can get to it, if I figure out how to get to all the articles and stuff online with my password!
I obviously can't handle all this crap because I keep trying to committ suicide, with serious attempts, both serious in my mind and heart, and serious in physical nature. I had anorexia that almost killed me which eventually led to bulimia at the end which was misery almost as bad as that Eating Disorder center. And today, if you read about my life and post on my home group forums, you'll see what luck I have, and what i have been given. But there is one difference.
To skip (i wish) to my question regarding mobility and to put you into the picture, i started loosing my legs around 6 years ago, every year since, these episodes take me longer and longer to recover from. In April after 3 weeks of the flu and an additional 2 weeks of dealing with a tooth abcess (my big episodes are always after viral infections, flu most common) i was once again made aware i was about to loose my legs again.
Experience in treatment of seizures has shown that drowsiness has occurred in approximately 50% of patients and ataxia in approximately 30%. In some cases, these may diminish with time; behavior problems have been noted in approximately 25% of patients.
But that's not the most alarming part of Tramadol in my case. In my case the antidepressant that they tacked on to the cocktail is the thing that causes all the rough psychological and mental symptoms. It's a Two Fer One! I've been feeling like I was going crazy for a long time. And in addition to that; the scary suicidal ideation. The suicidal ideation vanished and returns ONLY if I get a flare up of withdrawal symptoms. That happens if I get over stressed.
Without the treatment her appetite is getting better. Although she only eats in the morning, now she is eating twice in the morning. Could be a starvation problem because she is overweight. - I'm giving her Whiskas cat milk, I hope it's good for the bones because it has vitamin D, taurine, and calcium. And my mother is also taking milk with vitamin D.
i feel that this drug should be taken more serious. and the fact that anorexia in this country is the display of beauty in america. topamax is in my opinion changes the body not for the good but, for the bad!
I have studied the entire human body (in my profession), and have close friendships with several internists. However, I have no health insurance. Based on what I've studied and have been told, the most likely culprits are gastroparesis (very slow emptying of the stomach) OR gall bladder disease. It is true that when your stomach retains its food load an excessively long time, the contents can somewhat "ferment." I also have been told that bile typically tastes sulfuric.
A few days ago, I went to get my hair cut to lessen the weight on my head and the barber caught her comb in a snarl and pulled a section of my hair very hard. It feels like I was cut with a razor right where she pulled. I can feel EXACTLY where she pulled out the few hairs. It is severe and I don't know what is wrong. This was 5 days ago and it hurts very bad. I have seen several doctors for the scalp pain and they are still not sure what caused this or how to treat it.
That's because the problem isn't in your body, it's in your head. It's how you see yourself that's all messed up. You don't have to sit around feeling bad about yourself, pushing people away, making yourself miserable. Make an appointment with a therapist. When you feel this bad about yourself, it's probably going to feel scary and really hard to open up to someone else. But honestly, give it a chance. Just talking about it will help. You are perfect and lovable just as you are.
Thats whats wrong with most dr's atleast in my experience in that they don't think outside the box enough possibly because this is what they learned. I think I/we can guess or prognose just as well or better than they can at times particularly if we know something about health and or ourselves and our own health. Never be afraid to speak up because I feel strongly that digestive tract problems are real and translate into other real nasty symptoms like this.

This isn't really a question, it's more or less a walkthrough of what I am going through with anxiety problems and alcoholism in hopes that it might help someone out there. Had I read online about how common anxiety attacks after a night of drinking are, maybe I could have started my road to recovery sooner, and maybe some of you can.
Only relief is ice. It started 10 years ago (was living in mountains of Colorado--sunny, but little humidity) in the summer. It comes back every year around July/August and lasts thru December, disappearing just as suddenly as it returned. Does your itch do this as well? I am awake every single night with this, although it also occurs in the daytime now. It started on my left upper arm, but seems to expand each year.
A crawling sensation in skin is seen in people who are very anxious and stressed out. Very dry skin (you rule this out) and disorders of thyroid gland all can precipitate a crawling sensation. The other possibility is Morgellons disease often mimics scabies. The disease is believed to be caused by weak immune systems in people that have contracted the tick-borne Lyme Disease at some point in their life. It can also be a fungal infection like Tinea corporis.
I have experienced on 4 occasions in the last 6 years a rather weird Diarrhoea attack which really is painful and scary. Here is a description of what occurs. 1. Sudden abdominal pain which increases in intensity over a short time. The same sensation one might get when they are about to get Diarrhoea. 2. I go to the toilet and try excreting whatever wants to come out.
