Avatar f tn Yes you can have stomach pain along with many other symptoms. Anorexia and Anorexia Nervosa are actually two different things.. Anorexia is simply not eating, it doesn't necessarily mean you don't WANT to eat, just a lack of eating for whatever reason. Anorexia Nervosa (what people are usually talking about when they use the term Anorexia) is when you don't eat because you think you are fat, or you have a strong fear of gaining weight.

You need to see a medical doctor just to check on your overall medical condition and growth.

1247613 tn?1268785691 The pain of the kidney infection scared me out of anorexia, to say the least. The anxiety had become extreme to the point of serious panic attacks. My mother sent me something called lorazepam, she tells me that if I have an attack, I should take it. I wanted to ask a doctor's opinion before I actually take it at the time of my panic attacks which usually occurs at night.

Avatar m tn Unintentional and unexplained weight loss is definitely not good. There are many causes like worms in stool, depression, anorexia nervosa, AIDS, cancers especially colon cancers, drug abuse, infections and loss of appetite. Loss of appetite can again be due to certain medications, drug abuse, depression, AIDS, acute and chronic infections, cancers and hypothyroidism. Either you do not eat well or there is increased metabolism as in hyperthyroid states, HIV, cancer etc.
1190847 tn?1287363025 The causes for Trichotillomania can include genetics or neuorchemical imbalances, so if you are having issues with anxiety then pulling your hair could very well be caused by the anxiety. The anxiety may have caused it, but again the hair pulling is another disorder that developed and also needs to be treated. Just like how a lot of people with anxiety problems also have OCD. Both disorders need to be treated.

971443 tn?1282560078 Your not alone, there are many of us that suffer from anxiety/panic attacks including me. One real fact about anxiety/panic attacks is that, when someone has an incident that triggers high anxiety or a panic attack, later, if you dwell on it too much, just thinking about the incident or some variation of it can cause one to have another anxiety/panic attack. Since you hallucination was triggered by a drug, chances are that you will not start to randomly hallucinate. but to answer your question.

Avatar f tn If there is more hair loss than this, the first cause we look at is diet. It has been long known that anorexia causes hair loss. Your 400 calories on alternate days is flirting with an anorexia-like diet and is most likely stressing your body. Rather than cut your long locks, look to have a balanced diet each and every day. Good luck.
639751 tn?1223570892 Anorexia is a disease with trauma, severe anxiety, body dysmorphic disorder, extreme fear, self loathing, and irrational behaviors. When you have anorexia, you are both terrifyed of, and obsessed with food. I used to cook so much for my boyfriend, his friends, my family, etc. I would look online at recipes. If I was hungry, I would avoid any place with food. Anorexia made me miss my 8th grade year, and much of Highschool.
