Avatar f tn To answer your question, from personal experience when you starve yourself for a very long time, these symptoms you might be experiencing are common since your body is trying to compensate, meaning that it is now lowering your bmr because it thinks you are going to go through another shortage of fuel. Depending on how long and how severely you starved your body was starved, the symptoms can be more or less severe.

Avatar f tn html However, anorexia is a very serious condition! And with it, nothing may taste good to her. This is something that you really need professional help to deal with, and the sooner the better. I worry about the fact that she doesn't want her sisters to know about her. She should not be ashamed about what is going on. And it really is preventing her from getting better! This is a serious condition and even life threatening condition.
Avatar f tn Do you have anyone who you can talk to about how you feel. I would imagine that the drugs and the anorexia together have a lot to do with the aches. Withdrawing is hard on a body and that would be worse if your body is not strong. Are you getting any professional help for your depression and for the withdrawal (is your Dr. helping to manage this). I hope that you find some help and peace for all this soon. Life can be good again...don't lose hope.
Avatar f tn How can you possibly have anorexia if you do try to eat and do want to eat but when you do, you become sick either with diarrhea or vomiting so sometimes you won't to avoid this but overall you want to get better and have even gone as far as smoking marijuana to try to eat without pain but that doesn't always work either....so how can you have it?
Avatar m tn When they are off you will feel nauseous and weak. Also try to eat a banana everyday to help with your potassium. You DO NOT have Anorexia, eat and drink healthy and you will feel good again. Stop worrying and enjoy being a teenager. Take care!!!
