Puppies chew on lots of things, and it's possible what appears to be a harmless garden plant could have affected her if she'd eaten it. There was a long list of plants toxic for dogs online which I found once but did not keep. I'll try and find it again and post back. In the meantime -get her to the vet quickly.

I am anorexic and I weigh 40 kegs and I’m concerned I have heart failure - I have been having shortness of breath when lying down and things like that. However I’ve been to the hospital and had a chest X-ray an ecg and the doctor said my lungs are clear so I’m not sure what this is. Please help ? Thanks.

Hi, Any contrast dye used for seeing the functioning of any organ puts mainly one organ at risk and that is kidney as the contrast has to excrete through the kidneys. Hence, before doing any test where a contrast is used the kidney functions are tested. If the kidneys are not functioning properly or there’s an evidence of dehydration or there’s a slightest suspicion that the kidneys could be damaged, then the test using the contrast is not used. You have made a lot of assumptions here, Billie37. I don't have weight issues any longer, I got myself healthy so that I could have children. Also, not everyone just get pregnant once they sort out their weight issues - sometimes premature ovarian failure can occur with a long term eating disorder, in which case, it doesn't matter how healthy you become or how much weight you gain, you won't ovulate for the rest of your life. I said i DID have anorexia and that I was healthy today.

I never had an eating disorder per say, but years ago during a hard time with my Ex-husband, I didn't eat much and when I did, I only ate things like rice and ham. I lost 39 pounds in 5 weeks and woke up one morning with my heart beating all over the place and was rushed to the ER. Long story short, I was told I was close to joining Karen Carpenter. At your age. And kind of organ failure is rare lol dont google its evil! All our worst enemy. You could possibly have a urine infection though. Get a urine sample to your doctor and have it tested. A short course of antibiotics fixes this if thats the case :D Drink plenty of water.

MY advice is to not restrict yoursefl to 300 cal a day or anything under1200-1500. Your body will go into starvation mode and retain more water and food and in the long run it will make you fatter and unhealthy. Try to get on a healthy exercise and diet plan. Sometimes your body plateaus when its time to stop losing weight. I woudl also see someone like a therapist and find out what the back issue is that you have a problem with your body and food.
