Shortly after my facial hair stopped growing. Soon after that I was missing 2 small patches of hair on my scalp, above my groin, and my left eyebrow hair began falling out. A dermatologist told me I have alopecia areata which is treated with injections, except the groin area. I have been receiving these injections for 1 1/2 years with complete regrowth. However, my eyebrow hair falls out every month, but then re-grows. I have seen a combination of 6 different doctors.

DHT (a hormone converted from testosterone in the liver) is roughly 5 times more powerful than testosterone and one of the main hormones for promoting body hair growth, muscular look, penis blood flow, etc. Check above both your testicles for a "varicocele". This is an enlarged vein that is attached to your testicle. It will feel like a swelling in your scrotum on either side.
He has gotten hairy from the hormones so if body hair is an issue with you, facial hair, you will grow it out. If you want someone to talk to that knows what you're going through, you or your wife, feel free to email us at ***@****, we'd be glad to help!!
I also have noticed I am losing my hair also. Could this be down to low testosterone levels? I also has a swollen stomahe and IBS. All caused from some harmless sex play. Doctors have been so far no help but I am going back shortly. I beleve it's getting worse.
Regarding the hair loss, when I started going through menopause at age 47 I would find a hair ball in the shower. Lasted for a while and then stopped. I've read that hair loss can be attributed to a lack of estrogen. So not sure if you're at that age or not. Hair loss is also a symptom that some people with lupus deal with. I've had some estrogen issues just recently and have noticed my skin is a lot drier than usual, probably a result of the lowering estrogen.

I will be getting my GP to refer me to a specialist for a check up tho. I did have a biopsy when diagnosed in 1993...and they said it had an granuloma type growth??? When they discharge you it is like being put in a little boat and pushed back into the unknown. Yes cirrhosis can effect many functions of the body, brain, joints, muscles due to the role of the liver...it does have 500 of them so it stands that any damage is going to effect you.
