Adderal is being abused more and more. It is an amphetamine and as such can be abused. Lots of school kids are abusing their med (which is overpescribed) and getting in trouble. And some of the others just sell their med - and quite a few adults are taking their kids meds like that......it just aint right.

My pulse is exceptionally weak and my blood pressure is 156/90 after taking one (1) 500mg Naproxen and an amphetamine. I went and got my blood pressure checked, as well as my resting heart rate. The nurse never actually tried to feel my pulse, though. So I came home and I am very worried about how weak my pulse is. Has anybody heard weather or not taking Naproxen with an amphetamine can be harmful because it is not in the drug facts and I cannot find anything about it online either.

Adderal is an amphetamine and amphetamine are not serotenergic or not that i heard of. Adderal will work with you dopamine and norepinephrine neurotransmitters. This med will give you a lot of energy, euphoria, and reduce your appetite. It is safe to take all 3 meds together without worrying about serotonin syndrome. If you really don't like the Adderal I would suggest you talk to your doctor about trying an SNRI like Effexor or Cymbalta.

I drink a modest amount of water (about two 16.9 fl oz bottles of water a day). I took a 40 mg Vyvanse pill on a Thursday and another pill of the same the following Saturday( two days later). I am pretty bad with my amphetamine addiction and it feels like im the only one in this world that struggle with this kind of addiction. Did you ask your doctor about taking Phen with your BB? Ask your doctor or pharmacist.. I would never take any type of amphetamine with an arrhythmia; all kinds of things could happen. I think that's what started my major problems with my NSVT runs that made my heart stop.

My doctor changed Fetzima and then wellbutrin as she states they can throw off amphetamine levels in emit testing. Medac guy swore they used gcms to validate. So my doctor would run tests the same day I went to Medac. Levels never matched up though both labs use samsha guidelines supposedly. What in the world?! Help me here. I waited a little over 24 hrs. before I took 1 , subutex 2mg. pill. but after I felt like that I was scared to take a whole one today so I just took half. I feel okay but should I try to take the whole pill tom.? will I feel anything different after 2 days of taking sub? oh yeah I have been on 5 mg. of meth. for a little over a month now. Adderal is an amphetamine, but it shouldn't test as "meth" in a good drug screen. I happen to have a urine drug screen form right here, you can test "negative". Or positive for cannabinoids, cocaine, amphetamine, methamphetamine, opiates, etc. The amphetamine and meth are two different "check boxes", and you should have tested positive for amphetamine. If you have a prescription in your name that shouldn't be a problem. Best wishes.

i have orange vaginal discharge, i had a surgical abortion on 8-23-10 and had sex a couple days after and my husband came in me again i used the morning after pill ...i took a home pregnancy test and it came out postiive 3 week later? is that normal ?and what would the cause of orange discharge no odor?

My Dr told me the other day my iron levels are a little low so I should drink a big glass of orange juice in the mornings and take an iron pill every day. But the orange juice makes me feel like almost sick and kind of shakey after I drink it. And the iron pills are suppose to make me constipated (tmi sorry) which I do not want?! I have two sons with ADHD. The 'upper meds' 'boots' is talking about are the ones the are in the amphetamine class...extremely addictive, if abused. Ritilan, Adderal, Focalin, Daytrana are a few more in that class. He/she also added that they are an recovering addict, so I assume that they have abused, or are afraid that they will abuse these meds. Boots: I know of one that isn't an 'upper'. It's called 'Concerta'.

Adderall is an amphetamine. And it's addictive much like cocaine is. Maybe someone with personal experience with cocaine could jump in? Look up 'amphetamine psychosis' and 'dopamine hypothesis of psychosis/schizophrenia' to see how extended use of amphetamine can change a person psychologically. Becoming violent is only the tip of the iceberg of everything it can cause to happen to a person emotionally.

It's not okay to take someone else medications but well, Vyvanse is a stimulant in the category of amphetamines. Not suggested for anxiety but can be helpful for depression. Wellbutrin could be a bit more suitable for you with less side-effects if dopamine and norepinephrine is a problem in your depression/anxiety. Depression often leads to anxiety so yeah maybe when you took Vyvanse you had euphoric effects similar to those with amphetamine ''speed''.

Yes, I'd imagine that's what Sarah meant. Adderall works well for many kids with ADHD, but it isn't something I'd ever take, personally. It's amphethamine-like, or maybe a real amphetamine, and can cause addiction or dependence. Withdrawal can be bad. Sometimes we need these things, but I would try anything else, or go without, first. Sarah, have you tried Amantadine? PastorDan's thread mentions this, and Shoshin describes it. I did try it and it had zilch effect.

I had that happen with my Klonopin. I use to have very small orange ones and then they switched to larger orange ones but were the same dose etc.
